From 1 January 2013 to 2 September 2013, 10,454 transfers were processed by FIFA TMS. This is in line with 2012 (10,513 transfers, -0.6%). 5018 clubs from 164 countries across the globe were involved in player transfers over this period.

The total amount of declared transfer fees in 2013 was USD 3.367 billion, a 29% increase on 2012 (USD 2.619 billion). Year on year, declared commission paid to club intermediaries was up 20% to USD 169 million (in 2012 the figure was USD 141 million).

Over a two year period, commission paid to club intermediaries has risen 80%.

While the most active transfer streams saw players move from Portugal to Brazil (132 transfers) and Argentina to Chile (98); the streams with the highest total transfer compensation were from Spain to England (USD 227 million, 38 players), and from Italy to England (USD 148 million, 25 players).

But how they treading some of their own players is not the best acting you can aspect from the Los Blancos Thumb down

In this case they banish Mesut Özil.In the past they did it with Huntelaar, Sneijder.
First they buy a new expensive player and then kick some others in the ass.

Please, take an example from Bayern München.
You can like them or not, but they treeding their on players with respect. Thumb up

It is true, I do not understand how Real Madrid can banish a great player as Özil.
The season is very long and they play in different competitions.
There is always injured or penalized players and all have their opportunity to collaborate to the success of a team.
I think it is a great mistake of Real Madrid get rid of a great player as Özil.
Here in Spain, Özil has given us many evenings of good football and he has proven to be a great player.

So said Ozil : " I was sure to stay in Madrid, then I realized I haven' t Ancelotti's trust, while
Wenger told me he' ll put his trust in me".
Don't forget next summer there will be World Championships in Brazil.
I also think it has been a mistake to sell him, but I' m sure that for a player like Ozil it is
better to be in a club that consider him more than a second choice.
