@ Leahluv... Cycling? For sure... I'm italian and, if I can, every year I go to see 1-2 stages in the Dolomites ... It is part of the long list of sports that I love but for brevity I did not mention.
For italian billiard, means 2 Italian classics dishes that are played by us, 5 pins (known as the Italiana) and 9 pins (Goriziana), while snooker is little known and played, cause is difficult to find tables throughout Italy.. BTW... A beautiful Saturday for two football teams in Italy Cup, both of Verona(my city)... ChievoVerona(serieA)-Ascoli(B) 4-0...... Genoa(A)-HellasVerona(B  ) 1-1 but 1-4 after shoot-out...... Hope the same for next week when start serie A, and B too

Today start premier League and Liga.... Only city against united and real ag barca???? It seems.... Next week, serie A and bundesliga... And us open at flushing meadows, my favourite sport with basket...and soccer, of course.. But the list is much longer, from motor sports, baseball, italian billiards and snooker, golf .... I stop myself here!!!! |

First.... Speaking about match-fixing scandal here in italy....
Too much rumors and discussions remain and now the target has shifted to the federal prosecutor ... In practice, with the acquittal of some players (and the application of the prosecutor Palaces), many have begun to doubt on the whole process! As if, in the end, there was nothing if not 4 idiots who have done it alone The problem is not Mr Palazzi, or the Palazzi that one day will replace the current. The problem are us. Fans discover the sport justice-with its rigors and its excesses - only when it touches our team. Hardly ever, when it involves their opponents, and never when overwhelms them. Every time you celebrate a process, purists arise. Hears and reads that the accused must prove his innocence, and give out. With the risk that criticism, legitimate, gives way to the injury, unlawful. He yells at the sentences 'political': all those that touch inside a family. Italian football is a religious war, with the danger that, without a shock or without a move, religion disappear and remains the war. For us, the processes are all sporting conspiracies: thwarted or made based on the outcome. Even in the courts we enter with the flag of our team. Need to transplant fibers sporting culture in the belly of the Italians. I fear that if the doping Alex Schwarzer was in Juventus, Inter or AC Milan team, Juventus or Inter or Milan fans would have cried to the conspiracy. Is not Palazzi to have created us. Are us have created him!! Well we run for cover. We reform, widen, lengthen, etc. But until we can't change ourself, the judgment will be right, good, only if kiss our cause. Want to bet? Better no... Easy money to win, there's no satisfaction ;);) |
