Video download problem: Help to simply22

try to explain better your problem:

1)Is it a problem with RS or MU ?
2)Is it a problem with all the videos or only with the videos of mine ?
3)Is it a problem you have only at a certain hour of the day ?
4)Is it a problem you have only with videos or also with other files (ex: .rar) ?
5)Does your internet connection work properly ?

I am posting this here instead of a PM cause it might be useful to others.
There might be 2 additional things in JDownloader settings that you might want to try changing:
1) Click'n'Load: in Settings->Basics->General (Einstellungen->Grundlagen->Allgemein) you might Install Click'n'Load (you need administrator privileges). With it, EVERY time you click on a hotfile/rapidshare/megaupload/etc link in your web browser, the download will be automatically transferred to JDownloader.
I chose not to use Click'n'Load anymore (I prefer to select the link and copy/paste it) but you might find it useful.
2) In Settings->Basics->User Interface->Browser (Einstellungen->Grundlagen->Benutzeroberflaeche->Browser) you might want to set IE as your preferred browser - and see if it now works.

About your low download speed with Hotfile: it is not a problem with JDownloader, becuase you can download faster with it from e.g. Rapdishare.
It probably depends from your geolocation and the speed and distance (network nodes) of the nearest hotfile mirror server.
Consider Hotfile is based in Panama...! while e.g. Rapdishare is Swiss (Megaupload is Chinese but it's very fast so maybe what's important is that they have fast mirror servers not too far from you).
I normally download from Hotfile @ around 250 KBps and I do NOT have a premium account.

Yes, with your assistance succeeded to solve the problem with Hotfile. However, it was only possible with Mozilla and not with IE. I don't know why, but no matter,it works.
Disturbing is only the downloadspeed, for it is with Hotfire uniformly 70KB/s (although I set the intended data field on "0"), while in RS or Mu it is, depending on day/nighttime, 2-3 times so high.

After that, every time you find a download link in your (any) browser select it, right-click and copy it.
Go back to JDownloader, click on Linkgrabber->Add URL. JDownloader will read the link from your clipboard and show it to you.
Click on Check online status and in a couple of seconds you will see if the file is online or offline.
Click on Continue with all and the download will start - no need for captcha codes, cookies et al

Also:
If you decide to interrupt downloading, next time you start JDownloader, it will resume your downloads automatically.
When downloads of split/zipped files finish, JD will unrar/unzip the files for you and join them.

If JD does not work for you, it means your premium account is inactive...

Try enabling cookies in browser via options or privicy/security settings. If this fails, try clearing cookies (please make backup before clearing cookies)

Hello the-muppet!
There is a notice from Hotfile(it is in German):
"Wenn der Download nicht funktioniert, dann ist es möglich,daß Du unsere Cookies blockierst. Cookies sind nötig für Proxy-Nutzer".
I don't know unfortunately, what I and where I have to correct something,to solve this problem. Can you/someone help me further?

unfortunately you're right: with HF, Oron, FS and many others you need to type in the captcha, but not with the most widely used RS and MU (and the best of all, Depositfile).
JDownloader is still zillion times better than actually visitng the website, anyway, you can forget about using this or that browser, enabling cookies, javascript, popups etc.

you've accepted cookies? maybe after you disabled cookies the won't keep the log in or any other site saving.

I've no premium account for Hotfile, so I don't know what kind of problem you found.
