for down- or upload problems I'd usually suggest to stop the download (of course only for OCHs without captchas & waiting times or with Premium accounts) or the upload and restart it.
sometimes the connected server is with problems and so the load is far slower than usually. and restarting an upload or waiting with a download is often faster than continueing with the slow connection. especially @RS I get often servers with an upload duration of several hosters while files of the same size need at the same time (and probably other RS server) only some mins. |

Maybe FBI is building firewalls for Kim Schmitz' new "Me.ga". Or was it Sandy's devastation on east coast? |

I think I've found out why - uploaded 7 files in total (approx 1.5gb - inc 3 where upload completed but never gave me links) and managed to trip out virgins traffic management, so I'm capped for 5 hours and assume thats why subsequent upload failed at the start.

Heads up to us free users, I've been getting over 1mb/s download speed for the past halfhour. So if there were any files you've been eyeballing that would've take you a few hours you may want to give'em a try

I just had another finding: "+" in the file name doesn't work.
So probably some other special characters don't work either. But it's possible to rename the file in the Rapidshare Manager, then copy the new link and it works. OK, I don't know if it appears if it hasn't been uploaded with the RS Manager. Regards Joker |

The reason for your link not working is due to G A P S as everyone says, before you uploaded a file to RS in the past you could do links like this with gaps as they auto filled them.
([Versteckter Link - Registrierung notwendig] 02.03.mov) After the word SparkleLuLu i have added a gap and date as separated so not a full link, so add _ or any icon so there are no gaps, so no gaps and it will work. ([Versteckter Link - Registrierung notwendig] Same link but no gaps. [Versteckter Link - Registrierung notwendig] Remember do this before you upload a file, (SparkleLuLu_02.03.mov) works (SparkleLuLu 02.03.mov) won't and your just wasting your time uploading it |

[Versteckter Link - Registrierung notwendig]
Hi Brudgon, here the mistake(gap) in your link between the colon and the "S". Okay you have found another one, but if you remove this empty room, it will work. However,(and in every case) Best Regards |

Hi Brudgon, just explored your pic. Maybe it has to do with the dots. Normally in a lot of any software can be used a dot in front of the suffix of the file only. Try it with underlines and hyphens. (e.g. super-bruddie.avi) Good Luck |

brudgon wrote: Hi, have you got a gap in the link? That's forbidden. You can load it up but first when it is complete you see the result. File-size is 0,00 MB. I recommend you to check the file name before upload. Only a hint from experience. Best Rgeards |
