Re: Rapidgator downloads?

Yes it seems you need a free account to download anything from them, its safe and no quicker than it was at 45KB and unless premium i'm guessing still limited to 3 downloads per day Sad

If your going to register through a link make sure its a friend that you go through has it goes by referral, so if you decide on premium they will get $ for that Smile

Re: Megaupload & Other File Host Problems

Solved changing browser, it works using Chrome, where both IE and Firefox failed.
Thumb up

Re: Megaupload & Other File Host Problems

You are right, I have a fiber connection and it works as a big proxy. Not a country matter, it works with DSL providers.
I googled and found that all people who had problems with RG had same provider as me.
Thumb up

Only one solution: change provider.
This problem usually occurs with proxy servers, possible your internet provider is using one per default.
Maybe in your country the internet operators are forced to do so to observe and filter the internet traffic, then probably only a VPN to a free country will help, but this usually isn't available for free.
Maybe in a first step you could try TOR, but that's often very slow and might also "kill" the captchas.

with "not the fastest" download speed and only 3 dls/ day for not premium members RG isn't worth this effort. ;)

Re: Megaupload & Other File Host Problems

Not a matter of speed, it doesn't show the link after captcha insertion, and connection times out.
This with firefox.
With IE neither the captcha.

Re: Megaupload & Other File Host Problems

Have you tried to clear your cookies from rapidgator? That works sometime...if needed restart your router clear cookies and try again. Rapidgator seems to work fine but as it seems lately too many people using it and that's lowering down speed Sad

Re: Megaupload & Other File Host Problems

I have some problems with rapidgator (host chosen by fotoman): no link generated after entering captcha.

I think this is the best choice, only name and date. I decided to do the same. So it could be also a home movie of your daughter. Big Grin

Re: Names of Your Uploaded File

I thought about starting a new thread but it will get very few replies so no Sad

Anyway as hosts are still deleting files claiming copyright in most cases, i asked myself why would they just select some and not all. The reason some hosts are deleting is down to people using file names that get flagged up, aceman65 lost lots of his files on Mediafire for having the word "naked" in them, since then they have decided no adult content will be hosted by them (thanks ace for this info) so if you decided to do a home movie of the western "the naked spur" that would be deleted due to copyright and naked in the title, but all innocent.

So i am wondering what filenames others are using that are getting deleted, i'm doing this as we could use the names you post in here as ones to avoid using a kind of banned word list.

Also i know some hosts are just deleting through panic, so some may be misleading, i use Rapidshare and so far as i know none have been deleted apart from those i forgot to download myself after 30 days when i was a free member Blush but since then all are still there now i'm premium, the reason for this i think is due to i put no info in my titles and only put as a example "Caty 17.03.11" which as no keywords like naked or whatever other words they have chosen to scan for.

BTW i think the words "The" and "And" might be safe words Big Grin its more what you really think could be keywords you have used, like "naked or bare" as both may mean the same thing to them.

Like i say its just the words you think might be the issue in the title and if people reply it may help others think before sending a file to upload what to write in there titles Smile
