Does the ‘Harry Potter’ invisibility cloak REALLY exist?

If you are Harry Potter fan, the invisibility cloak might just be on the list of magical
things you want to own. Well, the wish isn’t so far-fetched now as it seems like a
Chinese firm has managed to create the cloak. Don’t believe it?

[Verstecktes Bild - Registrierung notwendig]

Then you need to watch this video. Chen Shiqu, deputy head of Criminal Investigation
Department at Ministry of Public Security China, shared a video claiming the cloak
could be useful to the military.

[Verstecktes Bild - Registrierung notwendig]

The caption of the clip reads: ‘This is a quantum technology-made cloth that is made of transparent
material, it can reflect the light wave around the person who wears it so it can make the person
disappear.” The 1.31-minute video that shows a man holding a cloak that hides him, while
making the background visible has left many Netizens baffled.

With more than 55,000 views, the clip has gone viral. While some were excited after looking
at the video, others called it “fake”. “He’s literally just holding a green screen,” one user commented,
and another one wrote: “Man behind the Cloak became invisible but the plants behind the man remain visible …. Looks fake.”

Woman finds fox sleeping in her cat’s bed ...

A ginger cat called George was recently outfoxed when he returned from a walk in the garden to find an uninvited
guest had taken over his bed. “When I came downstairs, and walked passed the kitchen into the bathroom, I did a
double take as in the kitchen window I could see a pair of huge ears,” said George’s owner, 47-year-old Meloney
Blayze from Petts Wood, south east London. “‘I thought, “hmm, those are not the cat’s ears”, and I turned the light
on to look at what was in the cat’s bed – and it was a fox.”

[Verstecktes Bild - Registrierung notwendig]

Meloney had woken up at 4am to let George out of the kitchen window and into the garden, but the fox had sneaked
in after she’d gone back to sleep and made itself comfortable in the unsuspecting cat’s bed. When he finally returned,
George tried to scare the squatter away by hissing at it, but the fox refused to budge until Meloney picked up the bed
and tipped the fox out of the window.

“He was very tame, he did not want to leave,” she said. Given the cold spell sweeping the UK at the moment, we can’t really blame him!

Delicate and offensive teacups to insult your guests with class.

Social norms might restrict you from revealing to people how you feel about them,
but that doesn't mean you can't get around it. Miss Havisham's has created a delicate
series of not-so-subtly insulting cups "for the lady who speaks her mind," and the
collection deserves to be inside everybody's cupboard.

[Verstecktes Bild - Registrierung notwendig]

"A wise woman once told me, 'If you got hate in your heart, you gotta let it out,'" Melisa Johnson,
the woman behind Miss Havisham's wrote. "By far, our favorite way to release it is by stewing
over a scalding cup of tea." Available in blue, aqua, or yellow, each cup comes with a saucer
and a strong dose of brutal honesty. The phrases include "Kindly fuck off," "Please, go die,"
and other classics.

[Verstecktes Bild - Registrierung notwendig]

"I've been an animation producer for 20 years and this was a much needed creative
outlet," Melissa explained her connection with tableware to *Bored Panda*. "My grandmother
was a (crazy) sometimes-antique dealer and I grew up in an eccentric family surrounded
by lovely, but often broken, things. Every woman in my family is a Miss Havisham to
some degree so I guess old and creepy imprinted on me because pretty much everything
I love is chipped and discarded."

[Verstecktes Bild - Registrierung notwendig]

"I love the juxtaposition of high brow and low. Here are these delicate and prissy cups
that aren’t really what they seem on the outside and neither are most of us. They have
a history and they also have spunk. Context is really everything.

[Verstecktes Bild - Registrierung notwendig]

They can be super mean I suppose but if you don’t get my sense of humor there’s really
nowhere to go from there."

[Verstecktes Bild - Registrierung notwendig]

"We hate your baby" is Melissa's favorite phrase from the whole collection. "No one
is going to say that out loud but we’ve all thought it at one time or another. Oddly enough,
that cup is particularly popular with parents which surprised me."

Available individually or as a set, these insulting teacups and saucers start at around $60.

A man added a straight arrow to a road sign for a left turn at an intersection in Lianyungang,
east China's Jiangsu province on November 27, 2017.

According to the police, he did this because there had been many traffic jams at the crossroad.
He believes that to open one more lane can help ease the traffic, and he decided to draw an arrow sign himself.

He was later fined 1,000 yuan ($151) for changing traffic signs.

An Unconscious Patient with a DNR Tattoo ...

Here present the case of a person whose presumed code-status preference led him to tattoo “Do Not Resuscitate” on his chest.
Paramedics brought an unconscious 70-year-old man with a history of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, diabetes
mellitus, and atrial fibrillation to the emergency department, where he was found to have an elevated blood alcohol level.

[Verstecktes Bild - Registrierung notwendig]

This patient’s tattooed DNR request produced more confusion than clarity, given concerns about its legality and likely
unfounded beliefs1 that tattoos might represent permanent reminders of regretted decisions made while the person
was intoxicated. [Versteckter Link - Registrierung notwendig]

Man stuffs $1,700 Fender guitar down pants at Guitar Center ...

Way back in January—in Fort Worth, Texas—a man walked into a local Guitar Center, stuffed a Fender

[Verstecktes Bild - Registrierung notwendig]

Video of the theft, embedded below and provided by InsideFWPD, shows a man in a black
track suit and orange winter vest walking behind an aisle display, kneeling down and then
rising and stuffing the guitar, neck first, down his pants.

Dallas ABC affiliate WFAA reported that the stolen Fender guitar was worth $1,700. The model
of the guitar was not provided. According to WFAA, police believed the man had previously moved
the guitar from another spot in the store to the location where he put it in his pants.

To the best of our knowledge, the thief was never caught. [Versteckter Link - Registrierung notwendig]

his shift at the nearby factory and walked over to help. He stunned the seasoned snake
catchers by sinking his teeth into the deadly python’s scales - which incredibly caused it to loosen its grip.

With four men pulling the python with all their strength, it eventually came loose after a lengthy three hour tug-of-war.
