[Verstecktes Bild - Registrierung notwendig] Mike Potter posted a video to Facebook showing the bear he spotted at the side of a road in Whitefish carrying what he said appeared to be a laptop computer. "It was a Montana moment I'll never forget, I mean I grew up here in Whitefish, Montana and when I saw that, that is what makes Montana great," Potter told MTN News. "As I drew focus and zoomed in with my phone, I could see it clearer. And then when I was editing the video the next morning, I zoomed in at 100-percent and it just appeared to have a little micro-logo on it and shading right where a laptop would fold," he said. |

[Verstecktes Bild - Registrierung notwendig] Although King cobras are known for being dangerous, the compassion of the locals for the animal was bigger than their fear. Also, knowing that this type of snake usually tries to avoid confrontation with humans as much as possible, they realised it must have been really thirsty to come to their village. [Verstecktes Bild - Registrierung notwendig] So, they began the rescue operation. First, one man took a grip of cobra’s tail to prevent it from attacking the guy with water bottle. The rescuer came in front of the snake and splashed some water on the snake’s head to cool the animal down. Then, he extended the water bottle for cobra to drink from, and the magic happened – it drank! All while trying to give water to the snake, the man was holding a snake catcher to protect himself in case the cobra decided to launch a vicious attack. Fortunately, everything went well. The snake was later taken to an animal care facility. |

Proof of time travel? The ancient statues holding "modern designer handbags" ... CONSPIRACY theorists are claiming to have discovered proof of time travel after finding evidence of ancient statues holding what looks like modern-day designer handbags. [Verstecktes Bild - Registrierung notwendig] In Mesopotamia, the cradle of modern civilisation, the symbol of the mysterious handbag is shown in countless stone carvings and statues, dating back as far as 10,000BC. [Verstecktes Bild - Registrierung notwendig] It then looks at the apparent appearance of the handbags held by statues in the time of the Sumerian, Phoenician, Assyrian and the Etruscan civilisations. [Verstecktes Bild - Registrierung notwendig] It also found the handbag across the ocean in South America, and at Tula, an archaeological site in Mexico developed during the times of the Toltecs after the fall of Teotihuacan. [Verstecktes Bild - Registrierung notwendig] They have also been found in carvings in Indonesia. The video considered whether they could have been taken back by time travellers from the future, before being carved into statues, or if they were some sort of alien technology given to our ancient ancestors. |

Urban miniature cities so detailed you’ll need a magnifying glass ... You have to look incredibly close to see it, but Joshua Smith packs an immense amount of detail into his miniature worlds. [Verstecktes Bild - Registrierung notwendig] The Australian artist has a flair for the microscopic, and his latest project captures the familiar grit of urban life in a fascinatingly small-scale model. [Verstecktes Bild - Registrierung notwendig] The centerpiece of his recent work, Temple Street, is modeled after a real apartment block in Kowloon City, Hong Kong. [Verstecktes Bild - Registrierung notwendig] Using finely carved cardboard, medium-density fibreboard and paint, he manages to emulate every minute aspect of a rough, big city landscape. [Verstecktes Bild - Registrierung notwendig] Rust, graffiti, tiny advertisements, and other touches are perfectly placed and look realistic. [Verstecktes Bild - Registrierung notwendig] “I want viewers to be fooled, if I take a photo of the completed work in sunlight, to think it is the real thing,” Smith told ArchDaily. [Verstecktes Bild - Registrierung notwendig] He has also produced models of more modest buildings, garbage dumpsters, and shops that fall under a running theme of urban darkness.
