Gone with the wind

Well the Grizzly one is still encamped on Craggy Island. Now I do not mind that as his company makes a welcome change to Mrs Doyle. Except he has taken a liking to my armchair and an even bigger liking to my whiskey.

ARSE !!

And then I have to listen to his confessions and his pennance over the departure of Sister Regina and the words about her that brought him to Craggy Island in the first place.

And now I have just witnessed his crying. "Why do you cry my son ?"

"I am not crying I was laughing so much that it brought tears to my eyes. This time I am not the prophet of doom. The queen has stepped off her own throne. When earlier I did risk my one good eye on these hallowed pages to find that grown men, who should know better, had fallen for the oldest trick in the book and listened to the sweet nothings that come out of a young lass's mouth."

"And not for the first time and probably not for the last time, someone got too big for their size fives and felt 'offended'. But remember this little darling. It was your decision to show what the good lord had graced you with. You could quite as easily have retained your star with your teasing ways and you were much more of a model then."

"And if you should return after whatever, I trust you will be older and wiser"
