"Any dream will do"

aka 'MustaphaModel's further adventures in the land of make believe'

This tale doth start in the long winter nights where dreams are filled by warm summer days. Asif the local camel trader had tempted poor Musty with his prize specimin. But Musty knew that his nice lady from the tv really would like his best camel and once those winter nights became summer days he would be more than happy to give her one. A camel that is. Whatever did you think I meant ?

The days turned into weeks, the weeks into months, and soon the big bird was flying from LA. That's Luton Airport. Whatever did you think I meant ?

As Mustapha looked out into the morning sky he did wonder where the good sun had gone. Allah was crying many a tear. He sure felt at home. And that night he presented his gift. "I have named this Joseph. I hope you will be pleased with him and take good care of him"

On night two he enquired on the health of Joseph. "Joseph is fine but I stroke him to much. I should stroke my pussy some more"

During the long days, Mustapha's mind and feet wandered the streets searching all those businesses that the big sheik ran - the car salesroom, the pizza restaurant, the dry cleaning service. But he only found the one. And as he starred into the sky, no pretty girl did pass him by. And soon he was about to cry. Or was that rain. He wondered why.

And he wondered if his big dream of meeting the sheik would ever come true.

But before this story ends, and many days and nights which have their tale that one day may be told, I must return to Jospeh. For Joseph was no simple camel. Joseph had a secret that once discovered he sang a song. Yes, Joseph was a musical camel and his song may well be known to you.

"Any dream will do"

I closed my eyes, drew back the curtain
To see for certain what I thought I knew
Far far away, someone was weeping
But the world was sleeping
Any dream will do

I wore my coat, with golden lining
Bright colors shining, wonderful and new
And in the east, the dawn was breaking
And the world was waking
Any dream will do

A crash of drums, a flash of light
My golden coat flew out of sight
The colors faded into darkness
I was left alone

May I return to the beginning
The light is dimming, and the dream is too
The world and I, we are still waiting
Still hesitating
Any dream will do

Re: "Any dream will do"

@ HvB

I've readen a second time DB's post.
I must admit that I have the same impression I had the first time ...
Again: if I misunderstood I apologize to DB (but I think to have understood right...)

Re: "Any dream will do"

Thank you HvB for your help.
However, when you ask an explanation to me, I always give you and I take care that my posts are clear.
I usually read the posts during a little break at work, so it's not important for me if a post is 10 or 30 lines long, the important is that when I have completely readen the post I'm sure of the meaning.
I can't stay 30 minutes to think what can be the "real meaning" or "reading between the lines", and this way of writing doesn't help me.Moreover I found many references to my posts.

I apologyge to DB (if I misunderstood).

My dear "teacher",

I think your post it's only a "thiny veiled answer to me", as we can see here:

I just feel the need to assure you:

ETV is not a tax to be paid for me, if they offer something good OK, otherwise they could show even today a "black screen", and for me it makes no difference.
So don't worry , because I have no problems to find other hobbies during the week (In the weekends I have other to do...)
And I don't stare into the sky.... because I have no need.
I only say what I see and what I think (the aim of the existence of this forum),praising the good things and criticizing some kinds of behaviours I find disgusting, the same behaviours you probably know so well, since you define yourself "a teacher for TV".....

Btw: just a request: can you change the name "Mustapha" ? I don't like it.

Re: "Any dream will do"

Hi traveller,
good to have you back, I missed your posts and the smell of camels and sheep ...
Well, to make it short I'll quote your cousin: ‏الحمد لله‎

Re: "Any dream will do"

We in Italy say "mogli e buoi dei paesi tuoi" (wives and oxen from your country only).

Just replace oxen with camels. :)))))))))))
