I have been sent a copy of the full letter from a UK viewer. Lace misunderstood a lot of it and read it very badly without preparing it, so that the meaning of some of the points was changed. She also omitted lots of things and trivialised others by missing what was meant.
If anyone would like a copy so you can see for yourself what was really written, please PM me. If there is a lot of interest I will ask permission to publish it in full here. |

I red the letter
I agree in some points specially the no of models in the night show and the rapid change of frame from one model to another. These points were also discussed in my previous posts |

Obviously somebody did take notice of this particular letter or Lace wouldn't have red it.
I didn't see most of these shows so I couldn't agree or disagree with its content. However I do know calling in the studio in a nightshift is (for me) only possible in the first or the last hour and the rest of the time the lines are full. I think the new concept still has to settle in and some rough edges have to be trimmed, maybe over the coming weeks things will change back or into something else as management sees fit. However one thing can be said. They are making more effort to do something with a theme if they do a themeshow. And for me also important, somebody seems to be thinking about the music. |

I read the letter.
What I read was a weeks worth of complaints, packaged up in a well presented, cleverly worded letter which was sent to someone who's first language is probably not English. We see such complaints/criticisms/suggestions in this forum on a regular basis. Yes, ETV will probably read them ... and pay as much attention as most of us do. As is regularly said here in reply, it's all down to the money. The letter was from a "UK viewer", not necessarily a caller. If all the points raised were addressed, would he become a caller? Who knows. If all the points were addressed would more viewers call or would more callers just view? Who knows. Maybe the "UK viewer" is a wannabe producer after a job. All in all, I've said enough ... |

They have never taken into great consideration the views of their customers. In their minds the customers must only pay, for the rest they do not count nothing. This is why ETV is dying. With regard to the new rules, they were only introduced for one reason, they do not have the money to pay the models for hot performances, so they increase so ridiculous the number of models and reduce the quality of the show. In addition, I believe that they have responded to this letter maybe because it is not the only one that they received, and perhaps, many girls have received phone calls in which customers complained of the show. So they felt it necessary to reply to that question, but, as usual, they didn't understand nothing disappointing, perhaps for the last time, their clients. In the world of commerce, if you continue to ignore the wishes of your customers, sooner or later, you'll be eliminated. This is what is happening to ETV. As far as Lace, I believe that she has seen the letter only when she entered the studio and that many of the views expressed are not really hers but of those who run the show..and this is, in my opinion, even worse. They have lost the compass, they do not have the resources to do show different from those that they do, they do not have the capacity, the imagination and the desire to do other things from what they are doing, so instead of appreciate the honesty, integrity and the affection of the customers who still have the courage to follow them, they respond with murmurers and contempt for those that are simple and leggittime requests from their customers, that is, those who, with their own money, allow them to live. |

No surprise to me. |

in addition to whats being said I'll say that without seeing its contents I am sure it doesn't reveal more that was already stated and written on this forum pages. On the other hand Lace didn't say much (I am sure none of what was written was new for her) she mentioned Ofcom and Austrian rules as if they are not the hardest so who then ? Is Germany even striker ? Anyway if this will continue the way it goes I don't see a bright future as the WEB is a much better alternative for viewers today (my self I prefer the satellite) . In another post i said the show is going no where and I think I was wrong its going down the drain : most of the time the music sucks , the studio gives you an alienated feeling , the girls are confused the staff is confused etc... Shame that in 2011 we have reached this stage ... Although no hope looks at site I still have some aspiration that things will do turn to the best .... (a word from a pessimist)

After the letter read and commented by Lace, I get some conclusions:
1.- The rules are more strict, and will be tougher and tougher and seems that finally night shows will end as Daytime Shows. 2.- This must be very frustrating for models, and also limit them drastically their potential. Hard to continiously heard "do not do that", "you cannot do that", "this is not allowed" etc. 3.- You cannot ask models to do something imaginative and Sexy, if they are scared to do something "Inconveient" or baned. 4.- Callers will be less and less interested on a show where the only Erotic thing is the name. 5.- It will be hard to cover the broadcasting expenses that every time are larger. For all the above I think that ETV should find a way to survive. I think that they do have a chance through the WEB to do some more exciting things. I still wonder why they forgot the idea of [hidden link - please register] I am 100 % sure they could get a good profit by developing something through the WEB that cannot and will not be able to show at TV. |

bellerophon wrote:Lace misunderstood a lot of it... One of the most interesting elements of last night was proof of how little knowledge the models (and I suspect most of the staff) have of ETV beyond the relatively small parts they play in it. Lace I feel is one of the more clued up models but of course, like all of us, they do their job, go home and think of everything else but their work. Those who watch avidly have a far greater knowledge of the minutiae of ETV. Therefore it was obvious that Lace had no knowledge of the new format for day shows and obviously knew none of the new models. [Although she got the context all wrong, I of course completely agree that Evah is "absolutely amazing" ] The two areas where she did understand was 1) the number of models in the night show and 2) the new rules. Her answers to both whilst a little confusing showed that there are good reasons for decisions that are made and that they are not just evil or wilful. What it also proves is that making contact with ETV with a considered opinion may achieve results. The important part is not that Lace read it but the ETV managers also read it and thought it important enough to make a feature of it. So Beller please thank your "UK viewer" for taking the trouble to send the letter. Wonder why he then sent it to you? |

I am interested too.
Anyway Lace must leave or be full dressed. She is the personification of badness, and unbecomingness. She destroys any show. |
