Can someone explain to me why is the HQ multicam stream ( which I guess almost nobody is intersted in) in such a high 1280x720 resolution while the main HQ exclusive show stream, which should be the main goal for the viewers, uses just poor 640x480 resolution with a poor 15 p/s framerate? Why is the resolution not inverted?
And speaking about the streams, why the hell they need so many streams, currently 10? It's clear the server they are using is quite slow and therefore very limited. I would say the usable maximum is 3 streams in the same time. No surprise when the traffic is a little bit higher all the streams are falling down. In this situation, I really don't understand why they still use so many streams, because any other stream makes the situation even worse. Reducing the bandwidth of the exclusive stream is maybe a solution how make it to be working, but for what a price? The picture is unwatchable then! At the age of HD, it all sounds like a bad joke. Not to mention they want people to pay for that. I don't want to blame anyone at etv, I know there are just professionals on every position who know the best what to do, but... about the webmaster, I really doubt. |

I hope they buy some faster server for this advertised show on Tuesday, otherwise we can expect another fiasko.
