Boycott etv

Slowfox one thing you might wish to consider is for every couch potato watching the show for free is a potential new customer, the same callers that once ETV had won't always stay loyal and neither will those who sent in sms wishes. Sometimes its good to take a step back and take into consideration of how this might effect the channel in the long term.

Thank you, Wakatobi2. Maybe involuntarily you brought a few issues to the point.

1) Before the so called 'work' of the video makers was appreciated. Now it is the none work, which is also work ? I personally have doubts when speaking of work related to a hobby or something nobody really forces you to, and you do basically for your own pleasure. No videos in the forum will also not have any financial effect on ETV.

2) You say not uploading is good work, but same time you ask for uploads of old videos ? little inconsistent or ?

3) When actually did the boycott startetd ? And do you really believe that one none paying couch potatoe not watching anymore will do any harm to ETV ? I guess not. Secondly if not watching means already boycotting all people proclaiming following the boycott are in break of their own rules as the comments of the recent shows give proof of. All people are still watching. But the majority was not paying anyway. And that is actually the core issue. They want for free, what effectively never was for free as there was always one paying the bill by sms or call. Now these free riders are asked to contribute and that is in their view robbery and ridiculous. Besides nobody forces them to watch or to buy any show.

4) Once you feel well not watching, why are you planning to return April 1st ? Or is it because of April Fools Day ?

Once those who still do like something in ETV are shown the door of this thread will the same be applicable for all those who dislkie ETV in any of the other threads. I mean once the likers will leave this thread, will the dislikers gather here and remain here ?

Stumpjumper here; I agree also that ETV should be boycotted. The program has degenerated over the past years so much that it isn´t worth watching anymore. You have such pretty girls on the show who aren´t allowed to show anything.
They look bored as well. I demand that the "Good Old Days" be brought back as quickly as possible.

I stopped with paying & watching Etv , about 2 years ago. (A Magnifienct job ) I know.
Like many others, and as you see, Etv did change his mind.

I agree fta in this way has no reason to exist and it should be fair to close it even if as you told they cannot survive in the web without fta support...there is too much competion in internet. We go on watching fta (much less) because we are fond of the channel ( or the idea we have of this channel) and everyone got his own favourite model, but truly otherwise there is no point this channel still survive

Okay I just wanted to give out a couple of sentences here, because I'm quite honestly 100% DONE. I'm THROUGH with ETV, but before that I want to touch on a topic that I've seen not only here, but also in other threads:

There are a lot of people who complain about the show. Nothing new, you can't please everyone and there are always people who are gonna complain.
But then, in this forum, we have people complaining about people complaining? Really?

The people who love the show for whatever reason feel the need to comment on this thread that is obviously aimed at the people who are dissatisfied with the show, for what reason? To change our minds? No, that's not gonna happen. There have been so many pointless arguments, insults left and right from both sides, it's absolutely ludacris.
Of course, in this forum everyone has the right to post where and what he wants, but, as I said, this thread is aimed for people who are disatisfied with the show, so if you love it, why do you even open this thread? You are waisting your time. Open a thread yourself where you share your thoughts and praises. It's that easy. Sure, ther aregonna be the occasional trolls, but just ignore them. Sadly this forum doesn't have a "mute" or "ignore" button, but just don't read it.

So to those that complain about people complaining: Just don't pay any attention to this thread. If you like and waste your money then do so, nobodies gonna stop you and nobody freaking cares. If someone opens a thread where, as I said, people share their praises for the show or talk about the exclusives, I wouldn't even bother bantering with the people there, because first: I hate the exclusives and I don't watch them, so I wouldn't waste my time there and rather communicate with people that feel the same way as I do.

The last thing I want to mention is praising ETV. It's in the nature of the human to complain. Even back when ETV was really good, there weren't many posts. And why? Because people where happy with the show. Sure, there where a handful people praising the show, but at the moment ETV is at an all-time low, that's for sure. The nightshows are dead. So people are complaining.
Example: I had problems with my internet and phone provider. I had to call them literally at least 10-12 times a week about this problem. I couldn't access the internet, the phone line wasn't working etc..
After a couple of weeks they send me a new router and ever since then I didn't have one problem.
Tha's what I was touching on: If something that is supposed to be working isn't working, we are complaining, rightfully so. If that thing gets repaired, or if it's just working, we don't do anything. No single "thank you" not a call where we just express our gratitude. Nothing. Maybe because we expect it work, or people are just ungrateful bastards, who knows.

I was watching ETV since the golden days. As you can see from my posts, I'm not an active member when it comes to posting. I share a couple of videos here and there and post messages that are too long for people to care here and there, but for the most part I sit back. The way I expressed my gratitude towards ETV over the years was by spending my money.
That's the thing a lot of people complaining about people complaining forget: A lot of people who post here aren't people who got the show for free, a lot of us did actually spend their money over the years.
I, personally, most of the money i spended for VIP's was for requesting shows from Lin and Penelope my all-time favorites. Over the course of the years I spent quite some money by requesting shows from them and that's the way I showed my happiness, I requested a show from them, because I liked the shows and I supported ETV with that.
As I said I'm not that active in this forum, but I supported them my way, by spending money.

Now, however. That curtain that FUCKING curtain. You guys remember the time when ETV wasn't allowed to show nudity during the day anymore? That was quite a while ago, but I'm sure some of you remember. They still tried to show some nudity during the day and what were they using? Exactly A CURTAIN! You could still request fullstrips during the day, but as soon as the girl took the bra off, the curtain would come down and you couldn't see jack shit. THAT's why the nightshows took off. The day shows where just "there" and the nightshows where the cream of the crop. The thing you had to watch and the shows where good most of the time. And... I said this before: That's when I actually am pro exclusives: During the day. if you see a girl in the dayshift and she won't be in the night show in the foreseeable future, or you just want to see a show from her, request a show, they do it on the web, since they can't show it during the day. Perfect. No problem.

Anywho. I have watched the show the last couple of days. I did. And I regret it. Or let me rephrase that: I wasn't paying any attention when I tuned into the channel. Nancy and Roshana where in a show. Usually that would mean sexy fullstrips lots of curves to look at, all of that good stuff. Nope. The biggest laugh of the night was a requested feet show. With the new law of only topless allowed (didn't they have that policy a couple months ago and revoked it after 2-3 weeks or so?) I thought "Well. At least you could still watch ETV from time to time for some feet shows." No I don't have a huge fetish for that, but I like it every once in a while, not TOO hyped for it.
So Tia and another girl did a feet show. Aside from the fact that they shot it from across the room with occasional 2-3 second close-ups it was decent but... but... let this sink in:

Furthermore, during that show Nancy had to cut promos where she had to advertise the show. I feel like I'm losing my mind just thinking about this stupid shit again.

Ugh. After that I checked the forum and saw that tonight, right now in fact, is a show without exclusives. And Nancy, Jasmine and Roshana are in the show. So I and many others, thought "Great. No exclusives, sexy girls in the show, that's ought to be good."
And what did I see a couple minutes before I started writing this post? A fucking exclusive message on the screen. Okay. Weird. But let's keep watching. Jasmine started doing a requsted strip at the pole. Before she pulls down her pants: Curtain.

Good. Great. Thank you ETV for that bullshit, because in all honesty: The only reason I still have a TV in my room is because of ETV. And because of shows that I taped back in the day and I plan to digitalize them anyways, so thank you ETV for making the decision to throw the TV out an easy one.

The last thing I wanna say is: The reason why ETV is doing the current shit. I have 2 ideas:
1: ETV doesn't make enough profit anymore, so the bosses try to milk the ETV cow for as long as possible until they have to pull the plug.
2: ETV makes more than enough profit, so they figured why not use the nightshows as promos for the stuff on the web?
Only problem is and many members stressed this countless times: The stuff you find on the internet is better. The quality on those countless webcam shows on the internet might be worse, but, speaking of camshows, not only can you communicate with the girl 1on1 you also get to choose of hundreds of different girls. I never used a camshow website mind you, but the stuff you can find on there is more explicit, more suited to your personal needs and way more private.

So yeah. The death of ETV has been forsaken many times, but given the drops in calls and vip messages (good job, guys, we are getting there) I don't expect the TV show to last much longer. I'm pretty sure that when they keep this up, ETV won't be anymore. The website might be up for some time after the TV channel is gone, but how do they plan to reach out to the people? How do they plan to market themselves? How are they planning to put themselves on the map? I haven't seen any ad's on any explicit pages for their website on the web, so that's why I'm sure hat ETV is going down in the near future.

I'll still be lurking in this forum obviously, I may drop some comments here and there, but I assure you: If I don't read that they allow explicit nudity in the nightshows anymore, I won't pay any money and I won't bother tuning into the channel. My money goes to the kind of entertainment that I enjoy.

And with that being said: FUCK ETV! FUCK 'EM!

Edit: I forgot to mention one thing: Since ETV twists and turns complaints around as they please, where else can we voice our disbelief than here? We have heard it multiple times that when anyone posts criticism, justified criticism, ETV management either labels them as "trolls" or "ungrateful idiots." So where is the best place to vent? At a place where our posts don't get censored, which would be here.
And I can guarantee you: If the shows would be better, the negativity floating around this forum would shift to positivity. If ETV would actually put on good shows, people would be happy. What's the point in saying that we enjoyed a show when we clearly didn't? That's phony, that's being unreal, that's garbage.

I don't know if it is the boycott or just people fed up with ETVs social experiments but from what I can see on the FTA channel, there are less VIP messages these days, mostly from the callers infatuated with the models.

I want to thank all the viewers and members are supporting this topic and are disappointed by such a shit sat tv channel now so called etv.....longtime viewers of course but also recent viewers...a warm welcome to any supporting post......frankly speaking now i watch etv rarely as it has nothing to do with exciting shows of the past....also in this forum caps and videos dropped down as there is nothing remarkable

that's a bit of a claim to make. firstly, unless you have counted every post and categorised each one, then you can't quote a statistic like 99% and as for people being unhappy, I'm unhappy about the constant slating of ETV by some, who seem to do it as the thing to be doing, regardless that they aren't watching it (by their own claim) Yes, the show has been poor and occasionally utter crap recently, but you cant just keep generalising the same old line without verifying if its still the same, When did you last watch a premium show yourself?

clearly you didn't watch the show tonight, the girls were laughing and joking, had great energy, and made a great show, so I can only conclude that you are basing your comments on what others are saying, who are just repeating the same old tripe.

I suggest you actually watch a show for yourself and then you may have a different view or at least you will have more credibility. Telling everyone to boycott a show and indicating that you are doing so, and then passing judgement on that same show, something doesn't add up here.

The main problem is they are offering premium show that are dull and boring, you pay for something different from what promised....they are not new to this kind of robbery ...they know is difficult and we could say useless to take legal steps.....99% of the posts prove most people are unhappy and this is so natural.....who could enjoy a naked girl bored, without energy and without any feeling with viewers or director?

In my opinion those viewers who loved Eurotic Tv can't love this crap that is on air 24 hours per day.
Viewers like Kenny don't know ETV in the past.
I don't understand how can historical customers continue to spend money on this channel, they really know what ETV was in the past so is almost impossible that they like this kind of erotic channel.
Or maybe for them is a such of drug...
