At the end of the day

I was not going to write the usual Sunday Sermon this week as I felt there was not much to say. Of course that would be a great relief to the majority of you. But over this weekend two topics have dominated the forums. Two topics which may seem to be total opposites but they are for me very closely linked.

The two topics are 'Kaleya is back' and 'Is ETV dead???'

So people write that if the channel does not return to its former ways then it might as well close down. They write that it needs the return of the former models to act as the impetus of that change or it might as well close down. They write that once again the most popular models are leaving the channel and without them they might as well close down. And they write that they should take a look at old shows to tell them how it should be done else they might as well close down.

There is nothing new in these comments. They have been said from the very earliest of days. But if you were honest with yourself would a total reversal of the current concept actually improve the channel. And when I say improve I mean improve the finances of the channel by generating more calls etc. Because for the people who write such comments the improvement is just for entertainment. They will be happy in the interim but that happiness does not pay the bills. And would a total reversal of the current concept actually generate more calls etc ? Maybe in the short term as that has happened in the past but once those callers get accustomed to their 'entertainment' they also want more. And when that 'more' is not forthcoming or indeed there is a drift back to the current concept those calls also drift away. We are back to where we were and even more comments that they might as well close down.

There was an air of anticipation in the return of 'The Queen' this past week. There was a hope that she could act as an impetus for a change. There was also criticism that she had gone a little 'soft'. But if you were honest with yourselves there was no purpose for her to act as she did before not atleast in the very first show which really was a 'show case'. She was not so soft as she wore a revealing gown. Her presence had the desired affect that she was quite busy on the phone and acted quite provocatively. And that performance itself could act as the impetus for any newer or colder model fortunate enough to witness it.

But at the end of the day we can write as much as we like. We can and do make suggestions. And sometimes they even act upon them. But we only see a small picture. The one that comes out of our tv screen. We do not see the whole picture. We cannot start to understand what other reasons may exist for why they deliver like they do. Only they truly know their business. Channels come and channels go. Many that have come since ETV started have gone by the way. But they are still here to please and annoy us in relatively equal proportions. And if they were to close down what would we then write about ?

Re: At the end of the day

Well, I agree with many things, one thing though you forgot to mention, and I think it is important to say it. The reason eurotic tv is still "alive", is also the fact that they have no competition in any other sexy channel. If they launched pointx channel with models like larissa, tamara, kathy, kia, megan, samantha and joining with some others...and produce with these models shows like alaya makes them, well etv could just close. So pointx sucks with not enough models-actually just one really nice; Rednight...well I expected more, so all in all there is nothing to watch really for a man who likes nice soft erotic besides UK channels which I dont like. So in these times of crisis of erotic channels even such crap as etv still has viewers. Sometimes even me, but I always watch recorded shows to rewind them if anything sexy hapenns, but usually I am done in 15 minutes for a whole day. And to be honest, when shows were good, I didnt have any time to write:)

Re: At the end of the day

Hi DB--yes I agree with the points you are putting across. There is a whole mix of problems that have been allowed to happen over a period of months now. There is no one solution to how Eurotic puts out its shows recently. But wouldn"t it be nice if a representative of Eurotic would write a post on these pages explaining the situation to us all. They are certainly not producing consistent quality as they used to. Take this weekend for example--one static camera most of the time resulting in fewer calls and shows from the models . The models then get bored and it shows. Cameras turning away when a model opens her legs (with pants on ) showing a model doing nothing when another model is trying to put on a show for a caller. It all adds up to a poor show and discourages any potential callers.Eurotic can produce very sexy and erotic shows when they put the effort in but it seems these days that everybody is happy to just hang around and let the models get on with it standing in a line looking bored. But it seems no matter what we say or suggest eurotic just keep sticking two fingers up to the callers as if to say we will do it our way if you like it or not.And that is the reason Eurotic is in the state it is in now
