Live and dangerous mode on. Those with fond memories of the original strip-curtain will recall what a disaster it was. A case of 'Digital Artifacts R Us' Now I try not to quote my own posts. Others do that quite well enough. Yet barely some 12 hours ago I wrote that I failed to see why some provocative dancing was not allowed. Now I will swear on my granny's bible that I had no prior knowledge of this (Although I did have a small amount of info of an attempt to persuade some models to become a sort of on-screen mod. That is the role of Violet and Monna but why they need two of them in one show I know not) But I digress. Roll on to the 2009 version of the strip curtain. No harsh colours. No harsh back-lighting. No artifacts. And it provides some provocation without IMHO being overdone. It will be interesting to see if this is used when the real strippers are in the studio as they will still have to be careful. And it will not please those that wish to see it all. But maybe this is a start in the right direction. So I will offer my congratulations to the tv for this innovation. Live and dangerous mode off. |
