He's back and he's not sparing the pixels. But before I start, jut a word or three of thanks to His Right Honour Justice Pervycam for relaying my recent thoughts. I would encourage him to write more in the future but he only knows one joke "You will be taken from this court to a prison and from there to a place of execution......" And he doesn't even get a chance to say that one these days. But he keeps the black cap handy just as a reminder. Got awfully confused the other day when he picked it up instead of his trusted secretary's lacy finest which he uses to mop his sweaty brow. The pregnant lady who was only being sentenced for shop-lifting had twins right on the spot. But as you read these words just remember your history lessons and the month they are written in. And the head chef at the ETV restaurant was charged to bring something rare and expensive to the usual fare. Hand designed menus (Silly Menu System [How] the feck do we make an erotic show out of this) did not seem to do the trick. So the answer was Fish. Not just any type of fish as there has always been plenty of whitebait or prawns -served in their shells with lots of dressings - this was to be a rarely viewed or tasted delicacy. Serve it hot. Serve it smoking. And only put it on the menu on special nights. The customer would not know when such a night would be as the menu was not printed in advance. And for 3 of these special nights, the trick seemed to work. On each menu there was a plentifull supply of quality fish which left the customers very happy. But even the head chef needs a night off now and again. And on the 4th night he left the menu to an underling who had forgotten to order the correct ingredients. So while there was some classic dishes being served, they alone could not tempt the customers and the master plan came unstuck. And you do indeed read this in November. It is typically a month in the calendar when something is tried to get the punters a little more interested. A month when the punters are often thrown the line to see if they can indeed catch more fish. A month that can be added to the others already in plaice. Another red herring. Or to put it into a fishy context - "A sprat to catch a mackerel"

Great to have you back. Maybe the Silly Menu System [How] were the chips to the fish, but without the vinegar they where a little bit dry and not easy to swallow. |
