Lizzen vary carvul. Eye vill sey dis o'nelly wance. Or to the rest of you 'allo 'allo To be honest, I feel ashamed, very ashamed, for not picking up on a quote by a learned colleague. So I thought it best to re-invent some British humour all of my own. Today's theme is.......Learn by your mistakes. None of us are perfect. We all make mistakes and we all should learn from them. Not to repeat them. Last week I commented on the new program transitions and in particular the lack of the 'legal' warning before the night-show. 24 hours after the post, the warning was back on screen. I don't claim any credit for that as here was a mistake that should never have been made a second time. And there have been ferther modifications to the transitions as there is now also a full title screen both at the end of a show and the start of the next. Still needs polish tho as the camera operator has often forgotten and a show starts in soft focus. But truthfully, I fail to see the merit of these - there are only so many ways to remake a bed. Any channel on top of it's game should seek to maximise it's revenue. There must be a more efficient use of these 10 minutes I promised myself I would not post critical comments about shows as it could all come back to me with interest one day. But as we all make mistakes, I will end today with a little rhyme inspired by a show a few days ago and what has happened since. I thought I saw a pussy(cat) a creeping up on me And after one hour they were gone But we say it was good that night And as this week ended we should not forget |
