Really hope Novara can play as good as they did during first half of the season, when they were the best Italian team, possibly playing better than any Serie A team...

Re: International Soccer - General Discussion

Some updates from national leagues playoffs:
Italian Serie B playoffs: Reggina-Novara & Padova-Varese, only one will get Serie A;
Down to Lega-Pro (3rd division): Frosinone, Portogruaro and Triestina, playout AlbinoLeffe-Piacenza.

English Championship: Playoff Final: Swansea City-Reading 4-2, so a Welsh team joins English Premiership.

I forgot French Ligue 1:
Winner: FC Lille
UEFA Champions League: Olympique De Marseille
UEFA Champions League qualifications: Olympique Lyonnaise
UEFA Europa League: Paris-Saint Germain, Sochaux, Rennes
To Ligue 2: Avignon, Lens and Monaco (very sad about it).
Top scorer: Moussa Sow (Lille).

Now season is over, it's time to transfert market.

A question for Sir Alex: why Berbatov (season's top scorer) on stand?

Re: International Soccer - General Discussion

Final result of the Champions-League Final

FC Barcelona 3 : 1 Manchester United

1:0 Pedro Rodriguéz (27.min)
1:1 Rooney (34.min)
2:1 Messi (54.min)
3:1 David Villa (69.min)

It was until last a very Interesting game with the better end for the FC Barcelona which can now celebrate their 4th Champions-League/Cup of the National Champions title (after 1992,2006,2009).

Top Scorer of this Champions-League season is Lionel Messi with 12 goals but unfortunately it isn´t a new record he only draw level with Ruud van Nistelrooy (Manchester United-2002/03).
