FORMULA 1 " TOP 3 VOTING " Season 2011 (Voting Only No Chat)

First of all ..welcome to everyone ! Here i am with the new game of " Top 3 voting " for this seasons F1 , like i told last season i came up with some new idea to make it more interesting to play this game ,this year there will be some more possebility's to score points . so here is the explanation of the game :

Everytime when there is a F1 race weekend i will ask everyone who wants to play ( join ) this game to give your " top 3 " drivers name who you think will end up on the podium , it doesn'd matter if person/member A chooze the same name (s) as person/member B , just write the names ho you think will end up on the podium on race day !

I keep the points sytem the same 2 points for the 3rd place driver ,4 points for 2nd place driver and 6 points for the 1st place driver . So you can win 12 points if you have your top 3 right

But now ....... i add this season something new in it ..namely ..the safety car ... i will ask of you if the safety car comes on the track ....so for this you will have 3 options to answer to it..you say < 2 times ( means less than 2 times = 1 or 2 ) ..or you say >2 (means more than 2 times = 3-4-5 etc ) ....if you say the safety car comes out <2 timesthan you will get 2 points [/b],if you say >2 than you get 4 points , if you say no will get 1 point ,so look whatyou chooze and you will score points [b]exept when you write <2 and the result is no than for it's no points given because the saftey car did not come out and the meaning of the <2 was that the car should come atleashed out 1 time !!!

And than the second part .. you will also score points if you write the name down of the driver who does the fastest lap on race day ...so this could be any driver ..if you got the name correct you will also score points ..and the points for this is ... 3 points .. i don't want to now the time that he drove ..just the name of the driver you think will to the fastest lap on race sunday !!!

And now ...i add this as a last opertunity to score even more points .. i ( Shaky ) will chooze at every race weekend randomely a name of one of the drivers ..for example " Michael Schumacher " ... i want to ask of you how many times will he make a pitstop ? ..with pitstop i mean this ... coming in the pit for tyres...for a nose/wing set-up ....euh ..just for checking the car...etc , and also the pitstop will include a stop and go ( a 10 sec.penalty ) ....but not a drive trough !
For this the score of points will be like this : 1 pitstop = 1 point , 2 pitstops = 2 points , 3 pitstops = 4 points .... and more = 4 points ..so the score depends of how many stops the driver does
Maybe it's a bit too mutch but i found that everybody should have the change to score points so that's why add this for this season
Here is a example of how it could be :

My top 3 is :

3 : D'Ambrosio
2 : Schumacher
1 : Massa

Safety car : no
Fastest lap : Segio Perez
[b]Pitstop : Schumacher : 2 pits

The official results of the race is :

3: Hamilton
2: Schumacher
1 :Massa

Safety car : < 2
Fastest lap : Alonso
Pitstop : Schumacher : 1 pitstop

So the score for me would be : 4 points because i have Schumacher on the correct place ..namely 2nd + 6 points because of Massa also on the correct place so for this i would score 10 points

safety car points is 1 point because i sayd no and the correct answer should have bin ..< 2 . So 1 point for this

Fastest lap : 0 points ..because i did not had the correct name . So 0 points for that

Pitstop : Schumacher : 0 points for this also ..beause i sayd that he would do 2 pitstops and it was just 1 pitstop that he did .So 0 points for this

So my score for this race would be a total of 10 points

So that was just a example of how it would be

And now some simple rules :
I want to see your names written down 1 hour before the race starts ( so this means if the race starts at 14.00u i want to see your " top 3 " written until 13.00u ..after this hour ..13.00u ..your " top 3 " will not cound anymore !!! ..or there must be a very exeptional reason and than i will delay the time ..like i did last year beacause of the heavy rain fall )

This topic is only for the game and not for a discussion , conversation or chat ..for this you can go to the " Ferrari ??? " topic if you want to say something !

You can change as many times your " top 3 " as you want ...as long that it is 1 hour before the race starts !!!!
I does not matter if you have the same names ( top 3) as somebody els has written down allready before you , you chooze the names that you think will end up on the podium !

i will let you know everytime from when on you can write/put your names down ...a simple advice ..wait until the qualification is done to write your names down

So friends/fans of Formula 1 , motorsports friends in general ..i hope you will like this game for this season that i came up with ( i find it more interesting than last year at the moment )

I would like to invite everyone to play this game ,if you are a expert or not ..it does not matter it's just for the fun people ..anyone can join/ play this game ..so i hope that this seasons game can be a succes

And to end ..let us hope that we can see a beautifull Formula 1 season and that it may stay exiting until the last race like last year with 4 people who could be F1 Champion

A short Speach :

So this was it than ..the final race of season 2011 ! I hope that everyone have had some fun and had some exitement with this years “Top3 Voting “ Season 2011 game . The game was for me a pleasure to make for the forum and for the fans of Formula1 ….or better sayd Motorsport fans in general …..i came up with this idea last year with the 1st edition and when I saw that it had a bit of succes I thought why not do it again this this year ,so I did but with some extra addings to make it a bit more interesting …so I hope it have worked . I must say I was actualy a bit surpriced that I saw this year more members than last year playing the game , but I’m happy that I have seen more enteries this year ,it gave me a boost to make the end result everytime after the race ,just to see who will end up where and how many points I could give too each and everyone of you ! Thanks also to the tyre supplier Pirelli it made this game unpredictable and more exciting than last year because we did not know for sure how long the tyres would last and also the strategy of the Teams where different. The inspiration for making this game came up since a couple of years allready when I saw a lot of F1 games on different F1 sides and also in some news papers ,so I thought …hmmm why not try it on the forum ? ,so I gave it a try and too my surprice it worked . The complicated part of this game this season was for me …how can I make it for everyone interesting…. so I thought … hmmm i should try to add something more than only putting the “ Top 3 “ ,so I came up with the safetycar ,pitstop and fastest lap …oké ..that part is resolved ….but what about the points ? , here I thought with these 3 addings I shold try a point system that can keep the score a bit on the leavel/horizontal side …if they could not score points with the “ Top 3 “ they should atleashed score points with the addings ,so that worked also ..aldo that there where times that there where zero scores ,so I have to figure that out for next year so that the zero score could stay away .Yes you read it right ..next season (2012) I will be back with the game ..i allready brainstormed some things for next year …I have this allready on a sideline in my pc ….thanks to a idea from our moderator dazaman I think I will add one or two more things …..maybe I will add that idea from dazaman ,but it could also be that I will add something els . I think for next year I’m going to put a part of the game allready on saturday , these means that you can score points on saturday and that these points will be add on sunday with the rest of it ……I’m not sure yet …but it could be something like this ! Like I told allready I have some things allready on sideline but during january/february I will digg in it further and see what I can come up with ! Also a Thank You for those who have send me a PM in the 1st part of the season letting me know to check the points again in a couple of seconds because there where some minor mistakes with giving the right points ,thanks to these Pm’s I could correct it immediately and everything was how it should be !

Yes i did it! Oh man thats su fucking great! So thank you Shaky for this Voting and thanks to all Members for this exiting Voting this Year,was more exciting than the F1-Saison this Year. But I m shure it would be better next Saison and finaly I wish for me and all the Schumifans out there that he becomes a good quick Car with he can fight for more than a few Points in the Races! So Congratulations to all in this Voting, i will do my best to defend this Title,thats will be a hard Way. So Guys I wish you a nice Evening and a nice Week with not so much Work.
