 I am English, but I have to admit Italy deserved to win that one.

Here is the final result of the fourth 1/4 final of this evening :
England - Italy 2:4 A.P.(0:0,0:0) No goals after 90. & 120. minutes ---------------------- 0:1 Balotelli (ITA) 1:1 Gerrard (ENG) X- Montolivo (ITA) 2:1 Rooney (ENG) 2:2 Pirlo (ITA) X- Young (ENG) 2:3 Nocerino (ITA) X- Cole (ENG) 2:4 Diamanti (ITA) Italy has reached the 1/2 final and will now play at Thursday 28th June at 20:45 CET in Warszaw against Germany. So the next two days are free for all teams (and their fans),but after that starts the semi-finals  The 1st Semi-Final between Portugal-Spain will be on Wednesday 27th June at 20:45 CET in Donetsk. The 2nd Semi-Final between Germany-Italy will be on Thursday 28th June at 20:45 CET in Warszaw. |

Spain vs Portugal, what a clash! A sort of Barca-Real. Even it`s to early to say for sure, it could be a decisive match for CR7 to regain Balon d`or! Maybe I`m a little too confident, but I think Cr.Ronaldo will prevail this time. At least, I hope he will

So today it's England v Italy, and for the first time in six years I'm actually looking forward to watching England play. They've been far from the best team in this tournament so far, but have shown character, and a lot of the credit must go to Roy Hodgson for that
I thought before the tournament started that if we got out of the group, it should be considered a success, and I'm sticking with that.I think the game today will be too close to call, so penalties are a distinct possibility. Let's hope Joe Hart's research pays off. It would be so good to have another semi-final with Germany, here in Warsaw where I live
