One of my particular favourites from 'Prog Rock' before it became overindulgent
Live performance videos were a bit rare in this era |

I visit in my life more concerts instead of a classroom
That´s why I always love a good live gig. And this one ( a cover ) from the "Boss" is a real good one |

Indeed Karras - as you can probably tell from my playlist, I've been kind of stuck in a time-warp for some time and the threads here are my first exposure to much new music, even though much of it is old, if you know what I mean. So I too am grateful to you and all the other contributors here for taking the time to share.

@Karras
as Schubert said, Wild Side of Life is Quo & Temples of Syrinx is Rush, otherwise all spot on (inc Mark Knopfler & Free) - well done! and theres two versions of While my Guitar Gently Weeps - one is the original Beatles, the other is George Harrison & Eric Clapton live Thanks for playing along, especially Karras & Schubert - hope you enjoyed as much as I did! |

schubert wrote:The wild side of life - Status Quo ?? and yup - theres a couple of Quo tracks! Before they got old and Radio 1 decided they were a parody they were actually a really good, hard driving rock / boogie band - especially live - and in my opinion their early stuff stands the test of time. Anyway - don't look Schubert, but here it is! |

Overture & Temples of Syrinx to be more accurate! Remember being in a bikers pub where a whole line of heavy, patched guys did the drum rolls in unison! a sight to behold! was never a great fan of Geddy Lee's super high pitched voice but always thought it was a great track! Didn't expect everyone to like everything Schubert! but here it is anyway! |
