hey guys, Battersea Power Station SW London
A famous landmark built in the 1930's this coal fired station
supplied power to London and suburbs. Ceased producing in 1983.
became a grade 2 listed building and was sold for £400 million for
redevelopment ideas include,football stadium, sports arena,penthouse
housing, but it's there awaiting the right conversion! it it open to the

hi guys, just this at the moment, the old man is unwell!
Battersea Park, in the 50's and 60's this park in the centre of London
was one of the first "theme park" with a permanent fun fair!! A riverside
location reached by river bus or road, very popular destination especially
weekends! a few other attractions to wonder at, a lake for boating and
various monuments wide paths, gardens.and grass land all in London!!

hey friends, Drusillas park and zoo Alfriston E Sussex
This great little zoo and large theme park is a pure pleasure for
parents wondering what to do with the kids when they are on
school holidays!! the park caters for the young and small persons!!
the animals are just the right sizes too!! monkeys,meerkats,penguins
and exotic birds! there are restaurants and many picnic areas! cheers guysSmileSmile

Her Majesty's naval base is one of 3 operating bases in UK
Historic Portsmouth,in the same location,houses the historic
"Mary Rose",a new museum. HMS Victory and HMS Warrior
The national navy museum houses hundreds of historic exhibits
The action station is a working museum showing old skills such
as sail making,rope making,etc.there are tours of the harbour.
also an exciting venue for many other attractions an excellent

hey friends, The Isle of Wight, feels like "going Abroad" yet it is only 30 mins
away from the mainland South Coast!! A relatively small place but packed with
everything you could require! from living on this great island or just visiting
festivals are held on a regular basis The Nature Trails and views are outstanding!!
But it is their preserved steam railway that really interests me! an experience
not to be missed, if as myself,a complete devotee to all things,that people have
took the time to bring back to life!! all working for the love of it!! usually from donated
cash! hence these couple of photos of one of my passions!!Cheers guys!!SmileSmile
