I live in the UK and at the moment I am using my Sky Digibox to watch the Hotbird channels. This method is not at all practical, though, and has many downsides. First of all, I have to manually tune each of the stations. A Sky digibox will only store 50 channels, and worst of all, I have to keep switching the satellite cables between my hotbird dish and my Sky minidish. Does anyone know of any good, but reasonably priced digital recievers? I don't want anything complicated as I'm not too bothered about getting cams/cards that will give me access to hardcore stuff. |

And what are the name of some of the hardcore channels out there, and what do they show? |

What type of cards do you need to view the hardcore channels? |

Nice, Shirtfull! My kind of price. I take it this doesn't have a card-reader thingybabob for the hardcore channels? (yes, you're right, my know-how is limited). The hardcore's not a biggie, as I said in my original post, but the option would be a bonus. Thanks again, mate. I think I'll have meself one of these! |
