Please download from here.......... Do not update the software.. say No for update..

You do not have to be watching when capturing...

You can do normal work and the software captures as many files as you want.

You can record the whole night show by not being watching all the time

Thx, man!
The rapidshare version (3.02) works fine for me (Win XP)!

Very easy even for installingbull, finally.Big GrinThumb up

But do you have the free and newest version 4? I ask, because I can record easily but can't convert to mp4, mpeg or avi.

I need avi or mpg for editing/cutting with VirtualDub.

Thx in advance!

And thx to shirtfull for:

"Try FLV converter (Free) on recorded files..

Also very easy!

It takes 1hour20? Normal?

Edit:
Sorry, the flv file was that long before.

But there is a not so good loss of quality in the result. Sad

Re: How to record Streams?!

Ive been using Replay Media Catcher for a while now, both free version and the full one,but still cant work out all its features. Found that as long as the webstream is stable it records very well, but I keep recording time to 4 hours or it doesnt seem to recognise the full length of the recording and wont play properly.
Problem is editing the recording.Avidemux doesnt recognise the file format(although thought it was FLV). Tried converting to various formats using RMC but with no success, keep getting error messages. Any ideas on how to sort it welcome.
Got plenty of files which I would like to post but far too big without editing.

Thanks momi for the recommendation. It sounds like a good application but when I visited their website it turned out that it's a Windows application not a Mac Sad
but thanks anyways Smile

if you use a Mac - Quicktime Player X will record the screen, it costs nothing as it is included in the software package.

screenflick is better gives you much more control, costs $ 25

Thank you elmo for the info. You're right Quicktime does record the screen, I didn't know that Angry but it seems it only records the whole screen, I can't choose the region, nonetheless, it's cool that I already have it and for free Smile

which one do you like better?? if i were to buy one which one would you recommend?? (for Mac of course) Smile

Camtasia is easy to use, not very complicated once you get used to it, but cant really recommend anymore as i have only tried that and flv.

There are others on this forum with much more knowledge than me when comes to apps for recording, so hope somebody can give you more info.
