Morgan Freeman, what a wonderful actor he is. Like a lot of other black actors past and present, e.g. Paul Robeson, Sidney Poitier, Harry Belafonte, James Earl Jones,Denzil Washington and others they bring two vital qualities to all the roles they portray, namely dignity and gravitas. Freeman has been in some outstanding movies during his illustrious career and my favourite role he was in is as the character called "Red" in the film "The Shawshank Redemption", co starring Tim Robbins from the novel by the horror writer Stephen King.
