at MU is every klick counted which means 100 busy server screens look like 100 downloads.
if the downloads of this video are much higher than the downloads of the other vids the explanation will be that the server was most of the time not reachable.
if an etv video got e.g. 800 dls in a few hours the explanation is that it's either a Gia vid or a vid on a busy server.

so welcome not only in the world of the videouploaders but also in the world of the one klick hosters.

Welcome to the videomakers dilemma, do we do it for the thanks/like or do we do it because we enjoy.

If its the first reason then you will loose heart, if its for the second you will carry on but not as much enthusiasm

But with those numbers its possible that your link as been borrowed to another site as that is extreme even for most posts.

Btw i was not one of the 456 who downloaded.

i just see my megaupload account and i saw 720 download from my video...but there isn't 720 thanks
i don't care because i like post videos for members who likes my videos...so i go on my way

It is not really important as all videomakers volunteer there recordings wether it takes 10 minutes or 3 or more hours, most take it for granted that there will be a video waiting for them.

When you think about it how many post compared to members numbers, the thanks/like button is the same.

Then there are people wether they post or not will never press the button through reasons they don't like the other member?, rather than moan about it which i am and was one of them were best just carry on as normal and if they thank great but if they don't we just get over it

The main issue i have now is not the videomakers lack of thanks but the cappers who post, then next post asking for the video with no thanks to the cappers, which in my opinion is more work than video making in some cases.

I think that is why you don't often see many who cap live shows, its how i started getting interested in making videos and if some try it they might find they enjoy it or continue to try and record like i did

The more you take part in a forum through chat or posting content can make it more interesting.

I admit that at first I was ashamed to press the thanks button when downloading videos, but I soon realized the unfairness of that behavior.
Now I always give thanks to all the videographers who work selflessly for us all.
My thanks to all for the good times that we provide.

hy daz....right now i tried on my skin to upload some videos about nikki anderson and in my megaupload account i saw 40 dowload and in the thread 10 thanks...so i understand what you post in this thread....i will post again because there are lot of members that enjoyed

Pressing the thanks-button is the least one can do when downloading a video. I even was sorry that I could not press twice or even more often, when I was enthused by the one or other clip.
In this way thanks to all the video-artists who give so much enjoyment to us!

Thanks to the guys that do contribute and inspire me to do likewise, my original post was from a members point of view not a Moderators, i knew i would be posting again whereas others will just stop...so keep this in mind next time you download a video as it might be the last that member posts due to lack of thanks/like.

I have decided to start contributing again as those who use the thanks/like button don't deserve to miss out on content, i see no change in the use but i can't be a member and not contribute as it is boring to me.

So expect content to be posted sometime today as I'm archiving again

I think it is a pity,if you stop the production of videos.
But I understand you.I'm still not long a member in this forum,but I also have noticed that some will probably not want to say thank you.
It also makes me angry,after all you invested a lot of time, effort and energy.
If I had to get a thank you for every download,then I had a tenfold more off thanks!
How much more it must be for you and the other nice guys of this case!
Surely I have forgotten to say thanks from time to time,and other members too.But so often?

impossible that there isn't a solution to stop this (for me) video abuse because this is a real VIDEO ABUSE

so please all members...including me...to help mods....and search a solution for this ABUSE
