Cool Cool

A rare phenomenon - today in the sky "meet" the Moon and Mars...

Today at 21.43 will be possible to observe a rare astronomical phenomenon - the conjunction of the Moon and Mars.
The event will see even without specialized equipment, practically naked eye. This should not prevent even relatively light in the city sky.

Watch the compound can be in the south-western part of the sky near the horizon in the constellation Libra.
The moon will be held at 7 degrees north of the position of Mars in the sky.

Dallas Police Shooting
[hidden image - please register]

Absolute carnage happened in the early hours this morning in the city of Dallas. Those in the USA who advocate the need for a gun, all because of the 2nd Amendment need to seriously revisit the question as events like this are becoming more and more of a regular occurrence.

Do you remember O.J. Simpson and his process ? Confused

Yeah I remember the OJ case well. The evidence to convict him of 1st degree murder was overwhelming. He was as guilty as sin, everybody knew that. He even tried to evade arrest and ended up being chased down by several police cars.

Not only did OJ escape justice, he also paid the state of California a substantial amount of money that at least 9 jury members had to be black and if convicted of 1st Degree murder that he would avoid the death penalty to which they agreed to. The whole trial was a sham and a celebrity circus. People with not one tenth of the evidence that was stacked up against OJ still get found guilty in the USA and given the ultimate punishment.

The world isn't fair and the justice system is corrupt, always has been and always will be.

I watched a recent interview with him on ITV in which he cried like a baby. The man is a very gifted actor with a very convincing performance to match but the hard facts and mitigating circumstances prove to me beyond a reasonable doubt that he is a cold blooded killer.

He got off lightly only because of his celebrity status. Further proof that the justice system is flawed. I'd be willing to bet that if he was not famous and just so happened to be black then they would have locked him up for life. Same crime, just different colour of skin. Penalties throughout the whole world are being unevenly applied Thumb down

That's exactly the problem. Germany have somehow managed to come out on top after being runners up in 2 World Wars one of which was led by a man with a silly moustache which he copied from Charlie Chaplin Smile to complete domination of the European Union. We Brits helped to rebuild Germany, helped to install democracy back into their country and now we are playing second fiddle to them. Something went wrong along the way I think Blush
Well, that costs us a lot of money. Helmut Kohl mostly bought the EU and this still charges interests.
Of course it guarantees influence, but this also often being misused to make unpopular laws which may cost votes in the next election and then blame "Brussels" Confused
Anyway, compared to countries like Greece, Spain or Italy you still complain on a comfortable level ;)

maximmus wrote:Seems to me the rich and the powerful are the ones predicting mayhem and financial strain and of course they control the media ,hence all the negativity thats being published

Funny you should say that, I was saying exactly the same thing to a friend of mine on the phone last night. Big businesses who are reaping the benefits in for exploiting cheap labour are the real losers in all of this, not the average UK man on the street. Don't get me wrong here as I'm no racist but I know of several Polish workers who are on the exact same wages as UK people yet their financial circumstances couldn't be any more contrasting.

The Polish man has a flash car, a nice big house and takes up to 4 lucrative holidays a year and stays in the best of the best when it comes to the hotels. The UK man on the other hand has an old banged up rusty bicycle as his mode of transport and can only afford to go to the likes of Blackpool when it comes to his holidays and stays in a modest flat. 2 people both doing exactly the same job here. Something has gone inherently wrong here.

Proof that the European Union is failing and leaving it makes more and more sense. The news channels are propaganda supported by the Government and I've heard nothing but biased upon biased reports about how we should never have left. Here's one reason as to why the UK people voted to leave and it had absolutely nothing to do with playing the race card, its down to fairness and equality.
