It's quite amazing how the poster "joannnajo" launches a discussion endless like a spiral.

It took quite a long time for some posters to realise that ETV's concept works and that they change their strategy to adapt to different expectations of viewers or callers.

I'm not sure if  forum posters with all their wishes, expectations and suggestions are representative for ETV. It seems that ETV doesn't take care of most of these opinions.

ETV follows another policy, I guess: Soft or hot? Ice or coffee? So what, it depends from everybody's taste to fill ETV's pockets with money.

But this is merely my humble opinion.;-)

I certainly remember Julia. By no means close to being a favourite of mine. She had a creepy work attitude and was always touching girls in not a very erotic or appealing way. But, as in the basic concept/explanation of the service goes she had a great value to the company.

Opinions do change. Tastes do change. ETV tried to change. They also tried to compete on more equal terms with some of the competition by producing a hotter show. That, I strongly believe is where they went badly wrong. Once you give something, the minute it is taken away then it is noticed. No one remembers when it was not there before but because it was there it should be there now.

But this is not the place for this discussion. To come back to topic, ETV have employed many soft, fully clothed ,models. So, in that respect, there is no change in the current casting policy. Without actually telephoning these girls we cannot tell what they actually give to the company.

And at the end of the day if those that truly pay the bills (the callers) are happy then who are we to disagree.

From my point of view, DB already provided one correct answer to his question why Joanna is being singled out. However, like in a multiple choice test, there might be more right answers. DB and some other viiewers certainly remember Julia, which also had a double function of moderating shows in Italian and talking to callers on the phone. Also Julia was a soft model. However, this was a long time ago. In the old forum, I could not find a complaint that she did not strip even as the nightshow was called "the strip show". Thus, there appears to be also a change in the attitude of some forum members. May be that some viewers are frustrated that shows are nowerdays dull compared to the hot shows in 2006 and early 2007.

Therefore, also Joanna's reply in another thread might be correct that some have really not understood the basic concept of ETV. This is not producing "Muschi-Shows" as Veni called them where each model shows her vagina in a close-up. The main purpose is to provide a phone service and to earn money from expensive phone lines. And watching the shows in which Joanna appears, it is quite obvious that she also receives a lot of calls. Therefore, she appears to be valuable for ETV management. She is a model moderating shows in German on stage and earns money from callers or senders of SMSes. And at the end of the day, the persons spending money decide whether Joanna is appropriate in an erotic show, not the free riders. As long as she earns more money than her wage costs are, it would be wise for management to keep her on the models list. She seems to have some erotic appeal to some guys calling her despite being a soft model. And as the saying goes, beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder.

To avoid any misunderstanding, Joanna is not my favorite model. The one I favoured left ETV on Sunday, 3rd of February this year. However, as long as there sufficient callers for Joanna or any other model attacked like Emanuela etc. they have all the right to stay in the shows of ETV.

not only for ultraviolet is your question, you can ask Emanuela the same question. She is a special girl like Hans said some times ago. She is only for Foot - or Handfetish. I would her ask the same what is her motivation to work  for a " Erotic" Channel.

Why is Joanna being singled out here. Just because she has the balls to post and invite critique ?

People have short memories. The reason why she was engaged is very simple - as part of the 'pretty things' talk show. An 'experiment' on the part of ETV.

It's not the issue why she is still there. That is her choice and as long as she provides reward to the company then she is entitled to be there.

There were many before her and several since she started who seem to give a whole lot less.

My mind about this: why don`t you let her do her thing? She`s a free girl,so she can do what ever she like. If she doesn`t like to take off her clothes,then we should respect that. There`re truly some guys out there who like talking with her. No, she isn`t one of my two favorite models!

I understand german,but I'm watching without sound (Viki and her Bon Jovi orgies made me do that, so if there is a Bon Jovi haters club, give me a link and I join. The voices from the off reading sms, have their share in making me not switching it on again ...)

I do understand German, and have no problem with the fact that you moderate the show from the front on camera. You do this far better than your male colleagues :-)
Perhaps you could convince them NOT to read the SMS out loud, we can and do read them ourselves, they are all too visual and twofold. Non German viewers are not
helped in this way either.

not only is your spoken German good, your written English isn't too bad either.
