Worst week ever for etv?

I know, the others weeks were bad as well, but for me this is the worst week, or surely one of the worst, ever of etv.
Maybe they can't do even worse next week... who knows... -_-

And still someone is calling the girls (or sending sms), unbelievable...

I have just read two interesting posts.

Call me the eternal optimist that the channel can turn this around. At present, they have imploded - pushed a self-destruct button - made the totally opposite decisions than they should.

Yes, filling screens with graphics that hide part of the service that they should be promoting is just the latest example. But there's a problem. Whether the promotion here is their own service or something their are just doing for commission they have to strike a balance. Maybe they think that the live-show is now just the window dressing and there's more to be made from such displays. If that really is the case then it's a total tragedy.

But without a strong live-show there will not be the potential callers for the other services.

And the themed shows. They can work but here is where creative direction comes in. Overdo it and people turn of. Case in point was the 'poker' show. The theme went on for too long. Today's was better as there was greater caller participation but it still lacked the final spark to make it a good show.

I know that having some new hot models is not enough, I said so because I think that it can be more a sign of change than just making some useless themed shows, like the one of this afternoon. But maybe the reason it's just that I don't like the new (and not improved *_*) themed shows.

I believe that you are too much optimist, but only time will tell... for what they did in the past I will be surprised if they seriously change, and stop fooling the viewers.
I agree with you about the points of strength of etv, and that's exactly the reason why a lot of people are not happy with eurotic, theoretically they CAN make the best liveshow channel of astra/hotbird satellites, but... we know that this is not what they are doing, and if the leadership doesn't change probably it will never happen.

Dear Arctic_Monkey first of all thanks I'm well I hope You too; sometimes it could happen also between best friends to have a different point of view about things, it's dialectic and it's useful to kill the boring of the routine :-) You have reason about the requirement of new hot and beauty models but I'm not so sure this enough to cure the ETV  illness: the boredom of their shows. Infect, looking around on others TV Sat Channels it's possible find many shows with this kind of girls but in my own I consider this shows boring than ETV even if they are professional models of erotic entertainment and they are not shy.

Looking back the ETV history there is an element that it's changed during last two years and it's the research of innovation in erotic field, when ETV started the claim was "Eurotic TV more than erotic" and it has been possible see more interactivity between the wishes of callers and the models, the INXTC shows were very experimental ;-). After almost 4 years they loosing their original intentions and actually the show are banal, olds. Call me crazy or just too much optimist but I think there is a light a the end of this catastrophic tunnel and it's the appreciation of some points of strength: 1. ETV have many models and luckily many are nice and some of this are hot, too; 2. I ignore exactly how many viewers have ETV now but I don't think they are fews despite the bad moment so it means the audience it exist yet and they are quite faithful; 3. ETV can broadcasting on two different frequency so why don't use this big potential in a different way? 4. even they don't use pretty good their stuff they have a good technical equipment better than many other TV Sat channels. For this reasons I'm quite sure the matter it isn't changing the line up of the models but it's necessary pay more attention on what they have already and changing the team mangers, make a good plain of marketing promotion i.e. it has been a big mistake introduce the new graphic to advertise others ETV phone services during the show, a good advertise focusing only a product per time otherwise the others products deter the attention on the principal and least but not last it's necessary a new palimpsest also with some daily columns with interview of the girls, organize some events why don't transmit clip/short movie with protagonist some models so it could be collect money also with sponsors.

The Sunday night show from 3rd to 4th february was the worst show of the last 2 years!!!! I don´t know who was the director, it was not told by martin the mod. The strips at the first half part were behind a paravent, so you could see nearly nothing!Boring, boring boring! And in the second part wishes of the spectators were often not fulfilled.

I hope the director of this show will never return!

This time I can't agree with you... no signs of change, at all.
The themed shows alone are not enough, there are always, except for donna, the same girls, like safo, kaleya or zita that trying, at least, to entertain the viewers... they need, as a sign of change, some new hot models, I can't find anything interesting in watching the same models for two or three years.

Lana's leaving is enough to name this week the worst.

Hello to everyone! It's possible that I'm the only one who think this week it wasn't so bad but finally after a lot of time it has been possible see something that We can call" live show" and not just some girls in front to a camera who sometime, better say seldom, take off their clothes.

I mean, after long time ETV directors try to organize the live shows. May be, it's just a try after many failures but it's a signal of changing, after all. I wish sooner it could be possible see much more of themed shows like for example the live show of this late evening "wardrobe/bar/party" it's a simply idea nothing of special but it works.

What it's necessary, in my opinion, it's follow the girls during the show by a good art directors team who give they motivations, who stimulate their creativity, it's necessary planned all shows don't let to the models self-maneged the time in front of camera like it happened on ETV2. Stay in front a camera for more than 2 hours it isn't easy for nobody infect after this time also some of the most hot models they becoming boring. May be they must choose, for every shows, a model leader that give to the others the timing and who help the most shy to be more free to express their-self another thing that must change it's to give roles and rules to the models independently if there are not calls for example with some choreographic moments not necessary strip dances but they could better than see lazy models reading or sleeping during the live show.

horrible week and a very bad sunday, now carolina is learning how to play chess, after learning turkish or falling asleep in studio, I'm very happy for her...

I don't think that etv can survive another year, I'm quite sure that this will be the last; If they continue like this I would probably watch it another week, maybe two, and then I'll stop... and I already know that it will be useless.

Maybe they don't want her reading on e1???
I agree that it was a horrible week. To be honest, the last show I have enjoyed was the night duo in the night December 22nd to 23rd. Since that time I didn’t manage to follow a show for longer than 5 minutes before being bored and switching channels.
Well, I saved a lot of money, and I had enough time to re-watch some old shows I have taped. Damned, this shows were really good.
 

It is also related to the current models , what do you think about the retun of Mama Elisa ?? and can you tell why do they keep schedule Carolina on ETV2 , for reading ??
