What a swell party that was

Ok. Please do not remind me. It was my good friend Claire Voyant who once said to me "Don't give up your day job".

There's one great advantage watching on Hotbird apart from seeing that the telephone numbers do appear to be changing on a daily basis (and sometimes even more than once in the same day) that I no longer hear the dulcet tones of whoever gets their sweaty paws on the mic. So I did not hear Hans announce the surprises that would follow after 20:00.And as my Italian friend said, maybe he did start the party a little early. I think he was reading from the 2007 script -))

I read another rumour that, as an afterthought, a party was organised at very short notice. At such short notice that someone forgot to organise it. A few balloons, a couple of bottles of falling-over juice (most of which seems to have been consumed off screen) and random visits by other models and motley camera-persons (or should that read mutley) is not really a party.

But this piece is being composed at the incredibly early hour of midnight (CET) so there may yet be some surprises to follow. But no compilation clip from me this year.
