Since you messed up this week's post, I'm off to the beach

Written on a sunny, saturday afternoon and in a state of shock.

Today's theme was to have been - "The Life and Death of an ETV set". I was going to try to understand why the retro-furnishings set had gone after barely 7 weeks. By no means the shortest time for a set - the cardboard cut-out telephone booths on Astra still hold that record *. But IMHO the retro set worked and did not need an immediate replacement. The only conclusion I could come to was that the channel was so short of money that they had sold the lot - shades of the gym again.

And while the replacement, ultra modern in complete contrast, also worked it still inherited the old problems and one of it's own making. Enough has already been written about that so I do not intend to repeat those words.

But in your best tradition of doing the unexpected, the unthinkable happened. At a flick of a switch there it was and I must eat my words about the sale of the props. Even the piano is still there although at present you do not appear to have any girl able to make proper use of it.

But I was also going to speculate that with the loss of that set you could well be preparing another one. And what form could that take ?. Well you look for suggestions so here is one. Let us turn the clock back 3 years and your very first themed set. So let us all go to the beach. Let us have the girls dressed ( and undressed ) for summer. Get them 'outdoors' and into the sunshine.

So let's all go to the beach. Let's all go to a Sunny Beach.

The beach bar studio was one of the best, but will it be interesting just 3 hours a day?

DB, a very good idea. I would like to see how Joanna is dressed on the beach...
And, maybe the Sunny Beach could suddenly become a Gold(en) Beach for ETV...? ;-)

No, but France is the first naturist destination in the world, and there is no problem with nudity on the most of the public beaches.( mainly in the south-west and the south) .
I am in holiday all the year.

No problem for me, my house is at 200m from a beach in the south-west of France. 50% of the girls (perhaps more) are full naked.

A very good idea. I don't think they can resist picking it up ;-)
