Silver Balls, Golden Balls. In fact a lot of old balls.

Despite what some commentators are saying, I do not accept the view that the calls are, at present, drying up

From the channels's point of view, it does not matter if the content is not giving the viewer a free 'handy'. As long as the income is there then it can continue.

But the days are early. Taking the previous occurance as the key, the level of calls/SMSs did appear to continue for a few weeks and then the impression I had was that they gradually petered away.

With that in mind, they should take steps to protect what income they have and not alienate, antagonise, the viewer/caller all the more.

And I direct this remark firmly at the two directors who still find it neccesary to waste as much as six minutes of call time by filling the screen with whatever inanimate object comes to mind. The girls should already be in the studio. This stupid cut off adds nothing to the presentation and there really is a simple way to prevent it. Other directors do not need to resort to this so why should these two ?
