Sex, Lies but no video-tape.

Well planet ETV, as some prat now likes to call it, is still revolving and in truth probably has many a orbit still left.

To the casual observer it was feared that the planet had got a little too close to the sun and burn-out was iminent.

For the first few weeks of this latest tragectory (no that is not a mis-spelling of tragedy) I watched very little of the day-time shows comforting myself with a few older recordings still on my hard drive. But these have now run out so I decided to take a space-walk or two.

What strikes me are several things. Generally, the volume of calls appears to be there. Generally, the models appear to be quite happy. Maybe a case of 'grin and bear it' rather than 'grin and bare it'. In truth probably most of them are quite comfortable with this arrangement. For the established girls, they do have regulars who are no longer concerned to see them undressed. The better models have also re-discovered the art of the tease which, in itself, can be quite erotic.

But behind this there is a lie. A lie that there exist some rules why even the warmer content is no longer allowed. Because when it suits them I am certain we will see some, maybe only occassional, examples.

A few weeks ago, a rumour went around that ETV were to produce a show from a beach resort. Indeed it was also rumoured that certain staff had accomodation booked for them at the resort. I tuned into the channel on that Sunday morning. What follows seems to have missed the attention of every poster here but for 5 hours on 15th June there were brief glimpses of the type of show as from before. The girls then performing looked clearly amused that they were being allowed to perform in this manner. The camera people made no attempt to focus away. And the director allowed it. At 16:00 the shows went back to the new format.

So you may wonder why that was the case. Well we never saw any of the show from the beach resort but I am certain that some of the new viewers of this channel did. So while they were watching that, the rest of us could see another type of show.

So where do these new viewers come from ? What is certain they come from a planet that will not accept day-time nudity in any form. The answer was probably mentioned in a discussion in the chatroom quite some time ago when three locations were mentioned - America, Turkey or German local cable. For a while, I flirted with the first two. I am now convinced that somewhere in Germany you can now view these pictures during the day and not just late at night as before (which could also explain their desire to have native speaking moderators).

I do wonder if suddenly the shows reverted back as before what the lie would then be. For now it's a case of.....

No sex. And no video-tape required either.
