Putting the tease back into the strip

Time for some more CRAP from this special correspondent.

The more I think about this, the more it seems that ETV is going back to its roots. Its motto was 'The Kings of Soft' and I believe that this new policy is a deliberate ploy to widen its appeal. It can be argued that they have gone to the extreme but if their new audience are not ready for even the soft eroticism that they were presenting then they have to nurture that audience to try and accept it with a gradual approach. Of course if they do lose the calls from the existing audience which are not replaced, and more importantly increased, by the new one, then they have lost the battle and will fall on their own sword. What is already evident this week is that there are already fewer and fewer VIPs as the senders have now realised that there is nothing on the end of the line.

Now for the new audience, the sight of some pretty girls sitting down and being available to talk to them is obviously a novelty. Equally, there will also be the regular caller who is not concerned to see the girl undressed. After all, they have already had that pleasure many a time. But they also need the caller who expects a little more. So the challenge is how to keep that caller on the line without offending the new audience.

Thinking back to the early times of the day shows, there was little or no inter-action (mild sexual contact) between models. The models rarely revealed themselves directly to the callers. The exposure was done at a designated area usually the pole. In the current studio the 'pole' is the curtain but since the new concept that has been totally underused. Not every girl can dance. Not every girl would strip. But those that can should have the abilty to provide a teasing, not too revealing, dance.

This morning was an almost perfect example of how it can be done. The model in question was topless for almost her entire time on the show. Yet she was covered by a variety of objects, - large fans, feathers or net curtains. Ocassionally, and I'm sure this was done quite deliberately to keep the callers interested, there was a little glimpse. But surely not enough to upset the new audience.

Nothing will ever please those that want it all. But those that want it all also want it for nothing anyway.

So ETV, prove to this correspondent that you can put the tease back into the strip and maybe those callers will not then hear the word 'no' so much and people who did send the VIPs could well send them again as there really is something at the end of the line.
 

Hi Rockabye-It may not be the jod they always dreamed of. But people have to make a living somehow. We may not all do or get the jobs we dreamed of but my point is that they were not driving past the studio one day and there car broke down and thought to themselves -ha- this job will do for me.

If they didn"t want to be there they would go-nobody is locking them in. Everywhere you look these days pretty girls are being used to advertise perfumes,watches,aftershave,cars,motor racing e.t.c. e.t.c.and eurotic is no different in using girls to promote themselves in order to make cash like any other industry. Sex sells and the models know why they are there. Its there choice even if its not the job their parents hoped for.

Hi rockabye-The models are there to tease and please-thats there job and they know whats expected from them when someone calls.

I"m sure there are plenty other jobs they could do to make some spare cash. For several years I worked as a photographer in the glamour and model industry. I now just do weddings e.t.c. . All the models I knew had jobs and used to model to make extra cash-they knew what was expected from them. Once a girl works in this type of industry she will always come back to it sooner or later. Take Samira  for example-the last time she left the show it was not long before she was on posters and tv for a famous perfume company. She came back to eurotic when her work dried up. She will go if she gets another assignment with someone else.

But as we know she and the other models are not being allowed to tease or please ( unless your into feet )

but Glassy, from todays models most don't come out of the sex industry. they are normal girls who study or work or whatever.

Hi Rockabye-a couple of years ago thats what most of the models did and seemed willing and happy to do it . I think thats why they applied for jobs on  a sexy channel because this is the industry that they normaly work in.

When the models do strip (not often these days ) they look bored out of their skulls  and do nothing to tease me into calling.. Watched 10 mins today and its as boring as ever. I agree with you completely but don't believe that you will convince the self-appointed "special correspondent"  of  your argumentation. Rather a camel will go through the eye of a needle.

But don't give up to argue.

I read everything all you wrote yesterday. Why? Simply because nothing is hapening on etv. Usual story. During the daytime shows we have beautiful models showing less and less, in the evenings every fucking evening same old unattractive bullshit show. Patricia is ofcourse excluded from this cruel but true opinion. I agree totally with brokingbull and HvB, they put some great posts here. Really you have to be blind not to see how bad is everything. Mustafa I regularly read your posts because I usually agree with them, although you are being attacked by some other people. But you make one mistake writing that people who call demand footshows and that they have a right to get it. The simple fact is that etv is cheating all other callers and sms writers who have other demands. I dont know how long you watch etv, but in past there werent situations where stripshows were interupted in the middle because someone asked for some wet nylon show. I would here like to write something else. Footshows can be maybe erotic for some minor number of people/callers. But in this case etv is doing a big mistake, putting footshows in first place. Man sometimes it is all you get the whole day. And also some other things too, like playing with food.

These things can be found in internet or in some special channels under FETISH channels. I wanted to write about this for a long time because I believe it is not suitable for going live on an erotic channel. I for example have a channel, showing pornogrphy with pregnat girls, fat girls, playing with food, nylon shows,...different stuff. It is a pay per view channel and showing different fetishes. Some of them should not be on live on etv, and it was written about this especially about food, and you all agreed with me. I just want to say nothing else but ETV is going away from what mayority of men/women think is erotic. I could and did sometimes use harder words, but let it be for this time.

Daytime shows I agree are made in a better way. Emily all in all is a sweet sweet girl. Just too soft.

Just a couple of my suggestionswhich they have acted on and DO work :-

1. The VIP screen were originally much too high and I suggested that they should frame them with a model.

2. The VIP messages required separate notification in the SMS area. I suggested a different colour. They did that.

Most of my suggestions revolve around delivery.They are not about content. A good delivery will always encourage participation.

No one will convince me that Hans has it right with his obsession about starting his shows pointing at a spotlight or now the mirror ball. If the mixer got it right then it could work. Is he just unlucky with his crew (does he do this himself ?) or just plainly stubborn.

Right. Watching etv is no fun anymore. It was different, but that time is over. And more important: I don’t feel the need to call anymore. Some time ago that was different, too.
And just my 2 Cent on the footshows: There have been other requests (and there are still some others), but if you choose to fulfil only the footshow requests, the ones wishing to see something different just give up and look somewhere else. And I don't believe the "If they have callers who request that they have to show it."-theory, because there have been a lot of requests for a nude Gia, but nobody felled the need to fulfil these requests. So I think this is just a lame excuse to justify the kind of shows that get aired these days. So by choosing which kind of wishes is fulfilled, you also choose which kind of viewers you get. If you think that the foot fetish market is the big thing these days, carry on. Hopefully there will be some dreamers waking you up some day ;-).
 

I just happened to watch ETV with one eye for two hours because I had a phone call and stopped zapping during the call.

This channel has become total crap, I must say. Nothing happens!! Even no more tits for kids! :-(((((

I didn't said the ETV Managers have a better qualification than you. But they get a daily input if something works or not. From outside you don't see that. Here in this forum 1000 guys can post that they dont want to see footshows. If they have callers who request that they have to show it.

If you think that they took your suggestions into their programme, then you see now that this suggestions wasn't work because they changed it again.

The difference between you and me is that I just laught about one channel. And I don't tell them what they have to make better that I like it. For me they are dreamers. It's like the same as a inventor who believes in his product but in reallity nobody needs his product. To acccept the flop it needs long time :))) For me it is funny to see that for example a silly moderator indroduce their viewers every 5 minutes how they have to use a phone.  But the reason that nobody calls is not that the viewers are too stuppid to use a phone. The reason of no calls is that nobody need their service.  So for me it is just funny to see what they try to get more calls :))) But I don't think that you have fun to see what happen on ETV.
