Well Nighthawk, I guess most people like to take for free, but when something is given for free the brain simply can't comprehend and gets distrustfull. Funny though when vids are offered for free there seems to be no distrust. I guess a different part of the "brain" is targeted.

This thread should be only helpful a little bit for members who are planning a membership
in ETV-Gold but unsure will it works or not and of course it's no payed advertisement.

Well to come back to this. It is real easy and very well explained on the website except for one thing. Copy-paste the message so you don't have the trouble of typing three times. The message is shown somewhere between instantly and a few minutes. If you have a really long message divided over two messages this is very convenient.

My expieriences are the same. A small tip:
If you want to send a message longer then 160 characters and must divide it in two
then start every message with part_1, part_2 and so on.
Easier to understand for the ETV-moderator.

Let me tell about another little advantage for calls in ETV-Gold.

Sometimes it happens that you have an unsuccessful attempt. All lines are engaged.
Normally it costs 3€ (1 min/mobile phone/Ger).

Not so in the membership.
From experience last Saturday, can say the remainder of minutes on the account was the same
after the first attempt. Not unimportant, because for calls during the "afterhours".

It's just like I said, I missed some practical info on this. One of the things holding me back to call was not knowing if it could be trusted or if I would be spammed or kept on the line needlessly or something. So this thread is just info for somebody who would like to call but isn't sure about it. Now there's also info about the VIP membership and the best time to make a call. I don"t see why this is strange. Ít's strange nobody did this before. This is no more an advertisement then any other post.

Hi Mr_Niceguy

here an example for Germany.

I got a special personal phone number for the calls it's not one of the studio phone numbers,
user-ID and password for sending the SMS's from the ETV website.

The SMS's included in the package are normal SMS's. For a VIP-SMS you must send exact the same message three times with VIP and a blank at the beginning. But it's no problem, if you use the "Copy-Paste" function.

"Copy-paste" function:
Write your message and before you send it for the first time mark it and press "CTRL+C" then send it, go back, click in the
input area and press "CTRL+V". Send it again and repeat the same procedure once again.

If you want to call from another country, one possibility is to use "SKYPE".
But I have never used it and must learn more about that.

Till now it works in a very good way have only positive expieriences
and yes later in the night is a better time for calls.

I always use the first number so I can't say anything about the other one, but it will probably be the same. After dialing the number I first hear what the call is gonna cost me a minute and then I get directly trown into the studio on a model's headset. I say who I would like to speak with and then I get switched. This takes no more then a minute usually.

Talking to my favorite it happens often that I am getting disconnected. Not all countries are equal so when somebody calls from a higher ranking country I am trown of the line. For this reason I usually wait to the end of the show when the intensity off the calls gets less. Then it is mostly not a problem.

I have never received any Spam or unwanted messages.
