Hitting the right notes

By some incredible good fortune ETV made a really clever move to bring a piano on to the new set.

What they may not have known was that amongst their rota were aleast two girls who could actually play and could use it as a proper strip prop. This is not something out of a Monty Python 'Blackmail' sketch but genuine talent.

The stage has settled in nicely now but with a new setting there are still the old habits that just will not go away.

1. I dismayed to see camerafrau Vicky on the set talking. Oh she was responding to a VIP (several VIPs) but how you may ask did the sender know she was there.

2. Hans still insists on starting his shows with that fade pointing a camera to a light effect. It's a different light but it still does not work.

3. They still have those STUPID soft focus transitions with some guy wandering nonchantly on to the set to untangle the spaghetti and is more concerned to chat up the models who have also wandered nonchantly on to the set.. Which often mean that the shows start late in the soft focus. You are losing potential income !!. Get it !!

So while these multi-talented girls are hitting the right notes you, ETV, still have a way to go. Maybe you still play the soft notes but remember that there are some bolder keys at the other end of the scale.

Re: Hitting the right notes

this is a a case of the production staff playing in a  completely different key. This is bound to create dischords -  "A combination of notes including one or more dissonant intervals".

This means a combination of notes that don't sound 'right'  -  a cacophony

they really should try low key background harmonies.
