let's try to be objective and compare the concept of the premium show and how etv approaches this and the promotion, with a movie presented at the cinemas.
It has been said that paying for a premium show is like buying a cat in the bag. well, not quite correct as they are explaining what the show is about, and once you have seen one of them you know quite well what to expect. When going to the movies do you want a detailed description of the movie to see ? Guess not, as it gets senseless to still watch that film once you know in detail what it is about and how it will end. The film industry uses trailers for that purpose to build up suspense or make people curious, and etv uses some words instead. The payment: there is production costs involved in both cases, which need to be covered, no doubt. Thus assume there will be no complaint and no comment, that asking for moneys to see a movie is ridiculous. Same goes for the premium shows, where the girls want to get paid, the camera guys, the director, vision mixer, equipement, etc. I would not work for free, do you ? The regular shows are paid by calls and sms. And I mean here not only the VIP sms sent to the girls, but rather all those 'tasteful' contact messages you constantly get to see on screen. This does not apply for the Premium Shows. Saying there is only one in the show am interested in anyway, would be the same as going to a James Bond Movie and being only interested to see Daniel Craig, and thus asking for not paying the entire price, because the rest of the cast is useless for you. And the box office guy or girl, will certainly smile at you, once you go there, telling them that you will not pay for the movie, as you did not want to watch it aynway. slow |
