Thank´you all for your answers... But as i and Vappiano write why is it soo hard to inform the viewers about the new situation? It isn´t okay for me not to inform the viewers..... But it is better to stop the posts and look what´s going on in the next weeks. We can´t change there concept and they must know what they are doing. We have only the right do don´t send sms and calls. If the income goes back or goes to minus they must think about their concept or have to close the channel.

Unfortunately it is not so easy to change the license. You can apply for a licence in a country where main part of the production, the editorial and/or the entrepreneurial decission making are located. So etv already choose the best option they had (afaik). You should not forget the time at which they applied. TV6 just had started to broadcast and the Austrian media laws didn't contain a real protection of minors. That part was later introduced (to force Peter S. and his TV6 to use encryption) when they were already in the process of applying or had just been granted the license. So at the time they applied it was the best choice to apply for an Austrian licence and it was also coincidently one of the licences they could apply for ... Btw: TV 6 was was warned several times for showing offending material at inappropriate times and was finaly taken off air for repeatedly missing to show the warnings for adult content ... There was a process started to revoke the license, but until now it isn't revoced. It seems nobody thought it was necessary to continue the process as Peter S. went to jail for 2 1/2 years for tax fraud, with the result that the licence taking company wnet into insolvency. But back on topic. It won't make much sence moving to another country to have less strict broadcasting rules, as with the EU directicve around the rules will be harmonized in the next time and the differences will only be insignificant ... We all have been withnesses of what happend to the Italian channels when the EU directive was translated in national Italian law. |

ETV continues to be only the reign of ambiguity and deception: I tell you a thing: Some time ago a celeb pornstar working also on a sat channel on Hotbird, Where is the respect for the callers in ETV ? The caller don't know anything. ETV is the TV of deception ! |

Hi hvb--so if they really wanted to they could change the country of origin of the broadcast rules regarding that specific country . But it seems they are happy with there shows just now. |

To quote parts of a previous post: For some reasons beyond my knowledge they are broadcasting a program that is compliant to even the conservativest interpretation of the law. I don't think that they do that without a reason . I only see two such reasons: a new and very censored market (must be a very big one as the old markets are practically given up) or some watchdog having his teeth on your balls and you need to please him to avoid him biting ... So who says that they were in line with the laws before? Looking back to 06/07 I don't think they were, but as long as nobody complains ... The law is enforcing an acoustic and optical warning for adult oriented content (it's doing so since years), but until lately they ignored that. Now they have it. So I think they were very relaxed in obeying the laws. Now they are almost overfulfill the requirements I remember DB reminding them more than once that those warnings are a requirement. And the high quality webstream ... lets wait and see. I still remember that great 3G service very lively ... |

But lets be honest with ourselves. The shows were getting stale anyway. Take for example Angie--for the last few months she has been a shadow of her former self. She looked bored and fed up and hardly smiled. She would still perform for callers but it was not the usual sexy performance she used to give. Something went wrong at eurotic. When models like Gia start to leave without even saying goodbye or a thank you to her callers then it must be bad. Kaleya also has never been back and who is next to leave ? The studio is not a happy place at the moment. Look at Sabrina the other night--she could not be bothered doing a thing. I really think Eurotic has had its day--its time to move on to a new channel with fresh ideas and better "rules". Eurotic cannot continue losing money like they are doing every day--and thats a fact ! |

If Eurotic has always used an Austrian licence which have not changed since eurotic started using it. Why have they suddenly went to a fashion channel. No laws regarding nudity have been changed within the last 18 months so I find the licence excuse a little hard to believe. They did this type of show before but it was not long before they changed because the income dropped so much. And if they are selling on these shows to another channel then I have yet to see anyone else broadcasting this crap--who would buy it ???Shows like this added to your channel line up would give your company a bad name. Its hours and hours of nothing !!! |

Why they have still the sms and phone call prizes of an erotic channel? They have to adapt it to other game show channels. But unfortunatly they know the world is full of idiots who deserve to be foolished. Before they have changed the conception I have thought the worst thing is to watch my soccer hometownclub at the moment.

@markus76: as said: national law. SexySat operates with a Dutch license, etv with an Austrian license. Links to the Austrian regulator and the laws are in here: [Versteckter Link - Registrierung notwendig] |

Just found on ETV's website:: "Hi...please show me your biceps and armwrestle with right and left hand..." and "Dear regie, when can you (the viewers) purchase by auction the models' pants?... Isn't that a proof for Eurotic's new image and customers' desires? |

It is nice to read your comments and your opinions but which license owns Sexysat? You can see full nudity at Astra and Hotbird and even topless the whole day with simulated masturbation. So please tell me nobody that ETV is censored by Austria laws. I didn´t find it in the Internet. And ETV only has showed topless at the day and night and you never saw a pussy full frontal. But you know the ETV Channel is not interested in their viewers because they never really explained the reason why they changed. Think about the day they changed. Until 12.00 Clock everything was okay and suddenly at afternoon nobody showed more. Where is the info for the viewer? When you work at a firm or company the Chief tells you why you have to work longer or shorter. But they even don´t have a service or other things. And i don´t pay for a dance or a story of a model. I can see hot girl dancing in every disco and if i wanna hear stories you only have to visit a cafe or pub to hear "little lies" :-) Regards and i am glad that the football break is over.....

@Vappiano: I'll give you one hint: High quality internet streaming is a lot cheaper than maintining a satelite broadcast! But wasn't that message also there befor they rduced the site to the minimal version that it is today? |
