My original post didn't say anything about page 3 girls SB, I just said babe channel girls. And as far as I know not one as done anything remotely successful in showbiz or any other type of entertainment. But I do agree with you about Sam Fox. Are my eyes deceiving me or what, but when I see Alice on screen she looks well over 6 foot in height. She seems to have a long body and her legs are quite long. Strange I should think that as I'm told she's about 5 ft. 8 ins. tall.

Aniseedballs 2 things in life I don't watch. Soap Opera and stupid reality programmes like Big Brother and Love Island. I will tune into the X Factor and thats it but only because I enjoy all the drama of the live shows
 If you read my post properly you will notice that I never said that either of the former S66 girls were a resounding success. I was merely counter balancing your post when you said that none of the former models on the channels have ever made it on the mainstream. Big Brother and Love Island are not to my liking but the fact still remains regardless of what you think of these shows they are still classed as mainstream. A fact which you cannot argue with Edit - Big Brother may be shite but the sight of Harry Amelia getting her kit off in the bath was a sight to behold

If you feel you must include page three girls SB, then surely the most successful has to be Katy Price, aka Jordan. But I must say i feel a little disappointed in you by even mentioning Big Brother. If you, being an intelligent man that you surely are. That you should fall for the utter bollocks that BB, or any other reality show akin to BB bring. And then to think that to be on them is a success. Then the thought police have won another little battle as they continue to dumb down what they want us to watch, and how they want us to think.

Aniseedballs a few former models both from S66 have tried to make the cross over in recent times with the latest former being kara de hoyde who won Love Island and before that we had Harry Amelia on Celebrity Big Brother but both seem to have found their level. They will always be associated with the former as the first thing a google search will give you results wise is babe forums and porn sites when you type their name into any given search.
In the 1980's and 1990's this was a lot more different, Samantha Fox was able to cross over into the real TV world and even had a Top 10 hit with Touch Me also Melinda Messenger too did rather well for herself, both who started out as Page 3 girls. Melinda Messenger was probably the most successful in this as she managed to find herself as presenter on Fort Boyard. These days such a success with any of the current mob is very unlikely.You have to remember that back in the day and in particular in the 1990s we had shows such as The Word on Channel 4, aswell as various late night shows on SKY with channels such as Men and Motors which gave those in the glamour industry something to fall back on. Have one look through the SKY EPG now with its hundreds of channels and not one single one caters for anything that comes close to lads culture. |

Not such a massive Rota of night girls, and that means you see them all in a week. And when you do see them they are doing exactly the same as last time. Take Alice as an example, you can set your clock with her performance. Bra off, getting naked,we even know when her favourite boots come off.
Same types of costumes, same shit spoken, nothing ever new put into the hours she spends on our screens. This isn't just Alice to be fair, each and everyone of them is the fucking same. But why do they not get bored with what they do? Is the money they earn the driving force, or is it that they don't have any ambition or desire or skills to do something a bit more challenging. They are not sexy people, they are just girls who get their tits out for a living if I'm being honest. I cannot recollect any girl who as appeared on these shows going on to successfully do other modelling or entertainment types of shows. Instead of moving on they just stay where they are, content in taking their bras off at ten o eight, knickers off at eleven o three. And all done as the clock ticks away their two minute fucking challenge. These shows really are shite. |

I think the older models are still on screen because they are reliable for a start. There seems to have been a hell of a lot of here today, oops i've got a boyfriend who doesn't like me doing this or my family found out or i'm as sexy as a bag of chips in mcdonalds bin, girls on the channels in the last couple of years. Plus the older ones bring a ready made older audience who have followed them from channel to channel, maybe call them to tell them what shopping they've done today etc but believe they have this relationship beyond punter level.

Babechannels by name but certainly not by nature, if being a certain age defines someone as being ''a babe''. Very loosely my definition of a babe would be a good looking girl in her twenties. But take a look at the girls doing the rounds on all of the babechannels and the vast majority are 30 plus, and a big plus in many cases. The future doesn't really bode well if the night time models over thirty way outnumber the models under twenty five. And not just a little over thirty, but for some quite a few years older. Lucy Zara, Lynda Leigh, Danni Harwood, Leigh Darby, Linsey Dawn Mckenzie, just a few that i remember, all 35 plus.
Some may like the more mature model, but i don't. And i certainly can't put them in the babe class. The five i have mentioned cannot muster up one pair of natural tits between them. For me that is not what being a babe is, old saggy tits propped up with silicone is not attractive. And that is without mentioning an even older collection of ladies, laughingly known as ''Cougars''. Now whatever the correct definition of babe is. A lady with a bigger waist measurement than mine isn't an accurate one, thats for fucking sure. |

i've never understood how so many people can appear to need so little sleep. Nearly every job i've ever had has required being awake for 5.30/6am so my viewing and calling has always been limited to 10-11.30pm at most. But there is always the factor that these people don't call and so therefore it's just a free show. then you wonder why they don't just whack one out to some random internet porn and fuck off to bed but then you end up back at the fact that so many of them believe they have a relationship with these girls, that the 'follow me back' on twitter or friending on facebook somehow implies a real friendship and not one solely based on the girls belief that these people are paying customers and it might improve the all important call stats. |

One o clock, maybe two sometimes if there was a decent girl on, I would stay up to watch these shows. But later than that it would be sleep deprivation. But that was long ago and now it would be much earlier.
But I was always surprised that people would stay up all night to watch the "best and worst" of offerings. But they did, and they still do. Do adult channel viewers not need sleep, how do they hold down a job. I presume they have a job to pay for the phone calls they make, don't they? The poster "Train" who records in great detail the happenings of the night with the likes of "at 4-28 she took of her purple and black bra, and sat "side on" for eight minutes until fucking off home." Can someone tell me what is the fucking point of staying up till the morning chorus to tell anyone that. Or does he just record everything and then report on it the following morning? However the man does it, he is a fucking lunatic. But I have to admit his lunacy does entertain me. |
