Italy consists of 20 regions (and 20 regional versions of italian language), everyone with its popular music, of course neapolitan songs are the most famous (I well know since I am from there), but there are 19 others traditional music kinds.
Some examples: Tenores De Bitti from Sardinia Raul Casadei, "Liscio" genre is very popular in Rimini area, sure germans well know. Lando Fiorini, typical genre from Rome, named "stornello". Tony Santagata, popular music from Puglia (Bari, Foggia) |
