The Beautiful South - Don' Marry Her, F...Me is track one on their 1996 Album "Blue Is The Color"
This is the original lyrics you can hear in the song below. The voice is of Jacqui Abbott and it was the first album they performed with her as the front voice after the exit of Briana Corrigan caused by to much differences between her and the other members of the band. Anyway a great song with a great lyrics  Due to refusing to play a song which contains the "F-Word" in lyrics by radio stations in several countries, they were forced to rename the respective line "Don't Marry Her F.. Me" into "Don't Marry Her Have Me" However original is original , the meaning didn't get lost and the world had and has bigger problems I think ... ...and the Sunday sun shines down on San Francisco bay.... :Musical Regards |
