Well we have UFO and ghost threads, so now something i grew up interested in
I could write what i know of murderers endlessly, but then there would be no point opening a thread for others to join in so heres just a starter. When i was a kid, i used to subscribe to the murder casebook paperbacks and found them interesting to say the least, i had all 150 of them but sadly a few years ago had the idea of throwing them away, only to find i could have sold them on ebay Anyway there was many stories in the 150, a couple where just indexes to ones gone, but usually 2 stories in each unless like the first, the yorkshire ripper, i'm from local to that area and meant a lot to me interest wise but, i won't start with him H. H. Holmes was one scary person [Versteckter Link - Registrierung notwendig] H.H Holmes - America's First Serial Killer I think i'll need to refresh my reading of some stories and get up to date with others i read at the time but, still not sure if most where proved true, like Henry Lee Lucas at the time i read his story he claimed hundreds but going by what i see, most are not proved Anyway i'm no killer but more why they kill, fun? fear? or whatever strange reason, ok money in a lot is a big factor If your interested then share how you got interested and which murderers caught your interest |

Most Evil is an interesting series of Discovery Channel, in which Dr. Stone ranks, from 1 to 22, serial killers, according to his way of acting and his motivations.

In Italy we had the famous case of The Monster of Florence, also known as Il Mostro, an epithet commonly used for the perpetrator, or perpetrators, of 16 murders, nearly all of couples, that took place between 1968 and 1985 in the province of Florence, Italy. The same gun and pattern were used in all the murders.
Four local men, Stefano Mele, Pietro Pacciani, Mario Vanni, and Giancarlo Lotti were arrested, charged, and convicted of the crime at different times. However, these convictions have been criticized and ridiculed in the media; critics suggest that the real killer or killers have never been identified. Several other suspects were arrested and held in captivity at various times, but they were later released when subsequent murders using the same weapon and methods cast doubt on the guilt of the suspects held in captivity. |

A few days ago I received a game on this topic.
Possibly, it can turn out to be to you interesting. Is a question of, in view of a few photos, knowing if the photo is of a serial killer or a hipster. Sometimes, it is not so easy to distinguish them, at least by the looks. [Versteckter Link - Registrierung notwendig] |

Interesting thread, daz.
I think that all serial killers are mentally unbalanced persons. Later it is already possible to think about the causes or the motives that have led them to realizing the murders, but, at first, a normal brain is not murdering persons. There is a case that has always impressed me. It is the case of Chris Wilder, a photographer of models. The facts happened in 1984, although it is suspected that already in 1965, he had already begun with his madness. |
