to my pc

Hi Guys,

I have HIVION reciever with 160GB hard disk, when i record something how can I transfer it to my pc with .avi or vlc or wmv? I have no idea about technitaions?

Connect receiver to pc with usb cable. (you might have to set the receiver to usb transfer mode).

Then try and access the HD of the receiver from the pc using a media player to identify the video files. This might not work as some receivers use their own formats for storing recordings on the HD, The manufacturers website may have a module you can download and install to interpret the files.

If you can view the video files, then transfer the wanted files to the pc and from there you can do as you please.

it has (USB out - 2) and (RS-232C)

Does your receiver have an interface to enable connection to a pc (USB or Ethernet/lan)
