Rapidshare went MAD ! o_o
something happened with my collector account.. i am not able to login anymore. my email is not yet accepted !! and when i tried to contact them via email they replied to me with: 'contact us with telephone' !! O_o WHAT THE HELL ???   the stragest thing is that i continue to receive warning emails from them with my account number as refeer. so the account still exist !!! damn ! |

Just looked at my acc, been bumped to rapidbig from small at a cost of 78 rapids. I thought the customer was the one to select what he wanted. Also read elsewhere that some have probs deleting files to match their package storage.

It looks like I will loose 110Gb of files in the next few days. They have not answered email on their policy of deleting exceeded storage, so assume they will delete oldest first.

the average lurker may now download a full year for about 13 €, while the average uploader would have to pay over 800 € for the same time frame sounds like rapid is dead for this forum ... |

Everyone with a premium account that ends in the next six month can use the rapidpoints and renew the membership up to one more year.
5.000 free & 5.000 premium points = 1 month 50.000 free & 50.000 premium points = 1 year Some have started already to move the files to other filehoster but no one can answer at the moment which filehoster would be the best alternative. I assume that the most uploaders will use in the following month MegaUpload for the files. Other filehoster have to be checked for up- and download and also the way to move the old Rapidshare-links. Every hint for a good filehoster is welcome. MU, Share-Online, hotfile and others like x7 could be, upload and Netload are no good idea. Concluding it is obvious that nobody should buy a new Rapidshare-account because he won't get much new files hosted there. |
