It wasn't necessary write 'if' because it was just my intention to begin my post with the form of the statement to play with the sequence of precedent conclusions: she is 18...she is 19...she is 20.
But in the moment that you know the event to which I make reference and you have seen the smile at the end of the post, you understand immediately that it was only a joke.
Anyway, don't you know the event to which I make reference? No problem, in the moment that I have written 17 it's implicit that mine was a joke or a false news, because if (now the 'if' it's necessary) she is still underage for consequence she can't work in these kind of trasmissions.

The point isn't about the joke, it's about Scarlet's age.
Scarlet isn't 17, that's why I pointed about her age.
