 again too late for the party  but the info that the Gia thread is a virus and some are infected shouldn't be a surprise to anyone, or? I guess most have realised this in the last years.

I never spotted that when I read the report.  I never have liked embeded content on a forum, as you have no idea of what's being passed on through their adverts.  Maybe the forum should ban embeded content, just to be safe. |

Well, I think I've found the problem:
What happened when Google visited this site? It seems like the embedded VideoBam clips are the reason for the page being seen as dangerous, so any other page with embedded videobam content could be affected as well. I'd suggest to stop using Videobam for the time being. |

Since the thread was closed there is no warning message.

Whatever the problem is. It only seems to be affecting the English link, not the German one. I've ignored the block and checked to see if there is any difference, and there isn't. So god knows what caused Google to issue a block.
But the page has been unblocked now. It's just locked with a possible virus warning on it. So I surgest we give the moderating team time to check it out and inform us when it's safe to go back in. |

Maybe a scan with TdSS Killer (download it from Kaspersy site) could help.

The thread as been closed and a warning on the title added, until Admin as a chance to sort it.
I have been in the Gia video thread 3 times since the warnings started and done a virus check on my com after, my warning shows as possible "phishing" i have had no virus showing on my com, so is clean. Please stay away from the thread until we know more. Thanks |
