This is why we need looser gun rules, if everyone is able and allowed to defend himself there will be much less bloodbath. Dallas Cowboys' Jerry Brown dies in car crash (Strange NFL season this year)
Dallas Cowboy Josh Brent was charged with intoxication manslaughter after the car he was driving crashed in an accident on Saturday, killing his teammate, practice-squad linebacker Jerry Brown. NFL player Josh Brent was arrested early Saturday on drink-driving manslaughter charges in connection with a single-vehicle smash that killed Dallas Cowboys reserve Jerry Brown. According to police, the 24-year-old Brent was driving on Highway 114 in Texas at around 2.20 am at a high speed when the vehicle struck a curb causing it to flip before coming to a stop in the middle of the service road, The Dallas Morning News reported. Brown, 25, was unresponsive at the scene and was taken to a Dallas-area hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. ... Jerry Brown was killed in the single-vehicle crash. Brent is the nose tackle for Dallas while Brown was a member of the Cowboys' practice squad. The two attended university together. "We are deeply saddened by the news of this accident and the passing of Jerry Brown," said Dallas owner Jerry Jones. "At this time, our hearts and prayers and deepest sympathies are with the members of Jerry's family and all of those who knew him and loved him." Brent was arrested for drink-driving after being given a sobriety test at the scene of the smash. He was booked into the Irving City Jail on a count of drink-driving manslaughter, the newspaper said. Brown is a former defensive lineman at Illinois University where he was a teammate of Brent. Brown was a linebacker on the Cowboys' practice team, while Brent is a three-year NFL veteran. Brent started five games this season for the Cowboys, who are in Cincinnati to play the Bengals on Sunday. |

Police have confirmed that Chiefs LB Jovan Belcher fatally shot his girlfriend and then committed suicide Saturday morning. Belcher shot his girlfriend at a residence about five miles away from Arrowhead Stadium. The couple's 3-month-old daughter and the girlfriend's mother were also there. Belcher proceeded to drive to Arrowhead, where teammates noticed him distraught in his car. They informed GM Scott Pioli and coach Romeo Crennel, who called police and went to talk to Belcher. Before turning the gun on himself, Belcher thanked Pioli and Crennel for everything they had done for him. He was 25 years old. As of now, Sunday's 1 p.m. ET game between the Chiefs and Panthers at Arrowhead is scheduled to go on as planned.

It isn't proved enough that they are responsable for war criminals, executed during the mission "Storm" in August 1995 when Croatia was reforcing its territory, which had been occupated by the Serbs, the so named "Republic of Serbian Krajina" Maybe they were responsible for some bad things but one is a non-controversial fact: The Serbs they had lived in the areas of Croatia(Krajina,Eastern Slavonia) had been started the Yugoslavian Civil War, supported by the government in Belgrade, no-one else. One year later the same happened in Bosnia-Herzegovina with the terrible result of Srebrenica. Who was responsable for it ? What had the international community done ? Nothing because of not existing oil in Croatia and Bosnia-Herzegovina ! The role they(E.U. and UN)had played was very embaressed !!! Welcome home Ante and Mladen. |
